"hayden! aaliyah!" mom called
"yes?" i asked
"sophia and payton are here!" she replied
"ooh payton" i smiled running up the stairs and into the living room
"hi" i smiled running over and pulling him into a hug
"hello" he replied kissing the top of my head
"why is aaliyah here?" sophia asked
"why is you here?" i asked
"touché" she mumbled
"anyways we're cleaning the basement so come help" i smiled pulling out of the hug and pulling payton down over to the basement
"why?" sophia asked
"that's a secret" i giggled as i walked down the stairs
"hey hayd i found these photos of this random boy" aaliyah said
"photos?" i asked looking over at her
"yeh like baby photos" she replied
"baby book" she mumbled picking it up
graysun's? no they can't be
"graysun vincent rose" she mumbled looking at a baby book
"hayden-grace rose? your name was rose?" she asked now looking up at me
"yeh mom changed it when we moved" i nodded taking the box out of her hands
"why the fuck does my mom have graysuns baby pictures" i mumbled
"there definitely graysun's?" aaliyah asked, i gave her a nod and grabbed my phone from my back pocket, i opened it up and rang graysun
"what are you doing?" sophia asked
"ringing gray" i said in a duh tone
"hayd what's up?" he asked answering the phone
"you know our conversation yesterday" i said
"mhm yeh i was about to ring you about that" he replied
"wait why?" i asked
"i spoke to my mom well not my mom well lisa and she said like yeh she adopted me" he said
"her and dad took the court papers before i could read them" he added
"what do court papers look like?" i asked
"papers" he replied
"well nah shit dickhead" i scoffed, i put him on speaker and started going threw the box
"you're on speaker and sophia, payton and aaliyah are here" i said
"okay okay, why'd you ring?" he asked
"me and liyah were cleaning the basement out and she's found a box full of yours and mine baby stuff" i said
"more?" he asked
"yeh baby book, blankets, photos" i said, i got to the bottom of the box and looked at it
"court papers" i mumbled grabbing them out from the bottom, i opened them up and quickly skimmed threw them
"court papers?" he asked
"i'm so confused" aaliyah mumbled
"harley-grace dayway/rose full custody of ashton-raine rose, tristan-ariel rose and hayden-grace rose" i mumbled
"james vincent rose, full custody of graysun vincent rose" i mumbled
a/n: i don't know how court papers work-
"does that mean-" sophia said
"my mom is his mom?" i said
"your mom is my mom?" he said
"gray do you have your birth certificate?" i asked
"nope, spent all day looking" he replied
"one second" i said looking up at everyone, i grabbed my phone and ran up the stairs
"mom keeps mine and the girls in her room, she never let us see them" i said running threw the living room and running up the stairs, i walked into her bedroom and straight over to her draws, she kept them and other important bits like in there
"there's five" i mumbled opening the drawer
"hayden" he said
"mhm?" i asked
"we're actually brother and sister" he laughed
"wow" i mumbled
"i actually have a brother" i said, i opened one of the certificates and let out a little gasp
"what?" he asked
"it's yours" i said, i walked back out of the room and ran back down the stairs, into the basement
"father james vincent rose, mother harley-grace dayway" i said
"for real?" he asked
"mhm" i said
"i'm booking a flight" he mumbled
"why didn't she tell me?" i said more to myself
"where'd you find this?" i asked looking over at aaliyah
"the uh the uh closet" she said pointing to the far end of the basement
"what's going on?" sophia asked
"i have no clue" i said
"i go in that damn thing everytime i'm down here" i mumbled
"i mean she obviously wants you to know" sophia said
"she should have just told me" i replied
"wait bubbles" i mumbled
"yeh?" graysun said
"wait how do you know about that nickname?" he asked
"i used to call my suppose imaginary friend that" i replied
"bubbles, he was older and one day he just disappeared, i asked mom about him until i was ten" i said
"that's who mr. bubbles is named after" i added
"she said one day we'll meet again, now is that one day" i nodded
"hayden" he said
"gray i'll ring you in abit, i need to go talk to my mom" i replied
"okay hayd, don't be mad at her until you hear the whole story" he said
"i'll try get a flight" he added, you could tell there was a smile on his face
"okay, love you" i said
"you too sister" he laughed, i laughed back and we both hung up
"you have a brother" sophia nodded
"yes" i said
"a real brother not a step brother a real brother" i added
"i need to go speak to my mom" i said getting up and grabbing the box of things, chucking the court papers and birth certificate on top
"uh yeh stay down here" i said now walking over to the stairs
"uh love you hayd" payton said
"love you" i replied
