''Can you stop making fun of me Carolyn ?! '' I asked her annoyed at the fact that she has been calling me ' limping wolf ' for over an hour now.

'' I'm sorry, its just that I didn't expect you two to do it that hard
Hayley," she chuckled.

"He girls!" We turned around and saw Whitney.

"Is it just me or are you glowing?" I asked leaning against my locker.

"Well...I'm pregnant.." she whispered.

"What?!" I asked leaning off the locker.

Do you mean that I'm going to have to deal with two hormonal wolves ?

"I'm so happy for you girl! We can be preggie buddies!" Carolyn shouted hugging Whitney.

"So, what about you Hayley?" Whitney asked after giving me a short hug.

"I can't walk,"I shrugged.

"That hard?" Whitney asked with wide eyes.

"Can you two stop asking\saying how hard it was?" I asked annoyed.

"Okay, okay let's go to class," Carolyn said just as the lunch bell rang.

     "People are getting suspicious about us...." Carolyn whispered to us as we entered the parking lot.

"MIND YOUR OWN BUSINESS!" I yelled at the top of my voice .

     Carolyn and I walked over to our cars but before we could, Alec and Jax grabbed our hands.

"What do you want?" I ask them annoyed.

Man, I'm getting annoyed easily today.

"Why did you three run away?" Alec asked looking down at me.

"It's none of your business," I snapped breaking the hold he had on my wrist.

"You're my mate!" Alec shouted.

"Oh really? When have I become your mate?" I asked folding my arms over my chest.

"Listen here mutt - " Jax started but was cut off by a slap Carolyn delivered to him.

"Don't call her a mutt you j - " Carolyn was cut off by him slamming her into a tree.

If the baby dies, so help me, I will shift and kill them both right here.

I punched Alec in the face and kneed Jax in his crotch.

I walked over to Carolyn who is crying and holding her stomach.

   I helped her stand up and walked over to my car.

The baby better be okay or else.

" What happened to her Hayley?" Lex asked as the doctor told us that both Carolyn and the baby are okay.

"Some douche shoved me in a tree," Carolyn replied walking up to him and kissing him on the cheek.

"Where's Soren?" I asked.

"In his office," Lex replied,x it might take you a while to get there though..."

   I shrugged him off and started walking down the corridor.

    
       "Soren...." I sang walking in to his office.

He looked up at me and closed his laptop.

''Hey pumpkin; why are you home so early?"

''School is over Sor ,'' I said rolling my eyes .

''Oh, come here,'' he said opening his arms for me to jump into.

I walked over to him and sat on his lap and immediately started playing in his hair.
''How was school?" he asked placing his hands on my hips.

''Carolyn called me ' limping wolf ' for over an hour, Whitney is pregnant ; some dude pushed Carolyn in a tree and - ''

''Is the baby okay?" he asked cutting me off.

'' Yes, the baby is okay,'' I replied stroking his cheeks.

''Maybe one day we'll have kids of our own,'' he said with a big smile.

I have to tell him now y'all.

'' Soren , I have - ''

Suddenly, someone burst through the door.

''Hey there little brother!''

I know that voice anywhere but it can't be.

I turned around and froze shaking violently in his arms.

''What are you doing here?" he asked.

''How do you know her?" Soren asked him.

''Let's just say that she, Carolyn and I go way back,''

''Hayley, what is he talking about?" Soren asked looking down at me.
