"To be honest with you, I don't know."

It was true, I really don't know what I'm going to say. I feel the arm around my waist leave.

"You don't know! (Y/n) I know I'm not a nice guy but I'm not gonna lie to a bunch of kids just to give them false hope that there siblings are still alive! You know that there dead they'll find out eventually."

Dabi says waving his arms around in a frantic way, I heard a slight tinge of anger in his voice.

"Why would you care? Huh? Its not like its your siblings, this has nothing to do with you! So let me raise them in a way to give them the happiest life they can have!"

I started to raise my voice a little, I wasn't mad at him. No I was actually touched that he cared, its all the pressure of not knowing what to say and the new mission I have to complete. His eyes widen a little hearing my voice get louder. He looked away from me, his hair covering his eyes.

It was silent and it was awkward, we continued walking down the street when the dark haired boy stopped. Letting out a puff of annoyance about to tell him off because he was slowing me down from getting home, I freeze when I hear the sadness of his voice.

"Don't say this has nothing to do with me, this has everything to do with me......there the closest thing to my family that I got and I'm not gonna leave and abandon them, not like last time."

He looks up to stare right in my eyes, so many emotions were swimming in his electric blue eyes. Regret, guilt, sadness, anger the sight was heartbreaking my eyes started to tear up but he looked away from me, trying to hide his face.

This was the first time Dabi mentioned anything about his past and I could tell that it was a very touchy subject, I felt bad for saying he wasn't apart of this. He save the little ones when I wasn't there.

I sigh and slowly walked towards the upset villain, garbing both his hands in mine in a way of comfort, he stiffed and snapped his head up to me.

"I-I'm sorry I was wrong you were there for them when I wasn't, I uh didn't mean to make you mad."

I looked away scolding myself for being so clingy but I was supersized to hear a deep laugh coming from the boy.

"Nah its fine just a bitter subject, you should at least have a background check on me its only fair, I guess."

He said pushing a stray strand of hair behind my ear, stepping away to turn to the side looking up at the sky.

"Well the short story is that my dad was as asshole who only wanted a kid to surpass All Might, I was the oldest with a powerful quirk so I was the first to go through the hell of taring."

I step a little closer to him wanting him to tell me more.

"The problem was that my body couldn't take my aftermath of my quirk so I was cast aside like I was nothing. My sister was next but she didn't have the powerful quirk he was looking for, it also happened to my brother."

He sighed.

"But then my little brother, the youngest had both quirks from my mom and dad and he was the chosen one for my 'father'. I would try and stop the training but I was never powerful enough to help. Then one day I just gave up and left, they all probably think I'm dead but I left them all by themselves. I abandoned them I can't do that again."
