I ran off to Lucy's apartment after paying my respects. 

Lucy. I love you too. Those were the best words that have ever come out my mouth. I know that saying it at her funeral was wrong, but, that's what she said to me, so I said it back.

I hop inside Lucy's apartment, and lay on her bed. I stare at the ceiling, remembering all the memories we had together. 

Lucy............................why did you go on that job alone????

Thinking that the letters she claimed to have written for me contain some answers, I hop out of bed and look for the letters.

*Time Skip*

I took me 2 weeks to find the letters and the gift.

Second Letter:

Natsu,

We have had so many great jobs and adventures together. And I'm grateful for that. You're the whole reason I'm in Fairy Tail. But there have also been a few mistakes in life. Here's the biggest one: When you left Fairy Tail for a year. The year you were gone, oh, I remember it so clearly. You left me heartbroken, Natsu. You never told anyone you were leaving, and you only left me a note. That one year was the worst year of my life. You'll understand why when you find your gift.

Third Letter:

Hey Natsu,

Did you find your gift yet? I'm not gonna give any spoilers just in case. I hope you find your gift soon enough, if you haven't already. I'll miss you Natsu.

A week after finding both letters, I found the gift. It's very precious to me. I listen to it, every morning and night. It's a lacrima recording of Lucy blushing and saying things. She says:

"Um, uh, hey Natsu. I've, uh, been m-m-meaning t-to tell y-you something. F-For a wh-whi-while now. I, um, uh,.............. *lets out a breath* let's try this again. I............ I LOVE YOU NATSU!!"

Mosta of the time she has her head down, but the part where she says she loves me, she has tears in her eyes and looks up. And my reply is always the same:

"I love you too, Lucy. And I miss you, and I wish you would come back."

But I know it's never gonna happen.
