-Your POV-
You'd think you'd want to be alone for once, but no. People end up following you. I know there are three boys behind me. And they go by the names of Bam, Rak and Khun. I abruptly stop.
"Why are you guys following me?" The sound of footsteps suddenly stopped.
"How'd you know?" I heard the blue haired male ask. I sighed.
"I can literally hear all three of you," I stated before turning around with my hands resting on my hips.
"We're sorry, Ms. (Y/N)! We were worried.." Bam's sweet voice filled the empty hallway. I cracked a smile at the innocent child, but I noticed Khun rolling his eyes as I did so.
"What, the Croc was worried too?" I asked, a bit suspicious. I also turned back around and continued walking to the nurse's office.
"HAH! YOU THINK THE GREAT RAK WRAITHRAISER WOULD BE WORRIED ABOUT A SMALL TURTLE?! I WAS JUST FOLLOWING MY PREY-" He claimed, pointing towards Bam. First it was Turtle, now prey? What is with this guy? "-I'M MAKING SURE NO ONE TOUCHES HIM."
"I... see," I said. I had finally arrived to my destination. "There, no need to be worried. I'm fine." I was about to open the door, but I felt a hand on my shoulder. I turned to see none other than Khun. His face, inches away from mine. My face was warming up.
"Actually. We wanted to... ask you something.." he grunted, almost annoyed.
"Whatever it is, make it quick. My leg's not getting any better over here," I retorted in the same annoyed voice.
"I wanted to invite you. To my house," Khun stated, rather casually.
"Eh..?" I stare at him confused. "Why...?"
"We're having a party for everyone who just got accepted into Tower High! Basically people we know in our grade," Bam exclaimed, happily.
"Ah.. I see.." I replied, "..and this is OK with you?" I turned to Khun.
"OF COURSE- HE IS YOUR MATE-" Khun smacked Rak on the head. I giggled at their antics. I guess guy friends do that.
"Yes, it's fine by me. Think of it as an apology. For kicking you earlier," Khun "apologized".
"Fine.. I'll come. I accept your apology." I smiled at him. He just smirked back.
"Great. You can come over anytime between six and seven. Give me your number later, and I'll send you the address."
"A- alright.." And after that, they walked away. Invitation to Khuns, huh? Why do I feel so excited? I opened the door to the nurse's office and- it was empty.
"Hello?" I called out, "is.. anybody here?" I cautiously limped halfway inside. I can't believe it! Where'd the nurse go? Should I wait here for her?
"Oh, hello. Sorry- I was getting these papers," she said. I turned around to see her standing in the doorway while leaning on the doorframe.
