29. Going to a dance together

i know i said it was going to prom but i decided to make it just a dance lolol

It was such a nice day today, not too cold not too hot. Perfect weather for a date night, but I already had made plans with the girls from class 1-A to go dress shopping for a dance UA is holding!

"It was nice of Aizawa sensei to let us know earlier about the dance!" Mina exclaimed as she jumped around our group of girls
"I agree! Unlike the Christmas party" I let out a sigh of relief, 

"I'm going to look for dresses in that new store that opened, does anyone want to join me?" Momo asked politely.

Since our group wasn't big, all of us decided to go making Momo excited. I didn't know a new store had opened, but I didn't know where to start dress shopping. The good thing is that this time I'd be getting honest reviews from my girl friends, instead of Katsuki shyly telling me I looked good in every dress I tried on.

We had split up into different groups, even though we were in the same store. Of course, Mina and I went together. We picked out a few dresses that caught our eye and went to the dressing room to try them on. The first two dresses I choose were red, I made a face realizing my dress on the Christmas party was also red. So I quickly discarded them and decided to try on the pink-ish one. I called out for Mina to ask her opinion.

"You look so cute, (Y/N)!" She squealed, Momo and Jirou happened to walk by
"Ah, (Y/N) you choose a dress? It looks nice!" Jirou complimented,
"Thank you" I smiled, "The sleeves are kind of itchy though"
"You do look beautiful in that dress, (Y/N), don't get me wrong but... I feel like that's not your color" Youyoruzu said shyly
"I appreciate your honesty! Katsuki would've told me I look good any dress" I chuckled

Mina and Jirou took a look at me once again and agreed with our vice class president. So the hunt for dresses began again.

I put my phone away with a big smile on my face. Some of us decided to go to another store. Uraraka and Tsu joined Mina and I to another dress shop. I didn't want to tell my friends about my plans with Katsuki so it won't seem like I didn't want to hang out with them.

"I really like this dress but it shows too much in the back" Uraraka said as she showed up the revealing dress
"Yolo" Mina said as Uraraka blushed
"I don't think it's appropriate for our school dance, kero, but it's a pretty dress" Tsu commented

After finding a dress that my friends and myself seemed to like, I texted Katsuki that I was free for the day.
He came to pick me up at my house and wanted to see how my dress looked. I just told him to wait for the dance because it was going to be a surprise.
He whined a bit, but he still took me to the movie theater which leads us to right now. Walking in the park.
