Chapter- 5

"If the right person comes by I'm ready"

As she says that Xander gets butterflies and looks at her while scratching the back of his neck and says," oh, um so what's your dream guy like? " he says that as she looks down to think of an answer, she said , " hmm, well I don't really have a dream guy, whoever is the guy that comes my way I'll love him with my whole heart ". He nods and smiles and says ," oh right ! Here " he says that as he takes her hoodie out of his bag and gives it to her, she takes it and says, " Oh thank you!" She says that as she smiles, she stands up, looks at him and says, " Okay, I think I should get going because I have some things to do back home ", he looks at her and says, "okay I'll see you later!" He says that as he holds her waist and pulls her closer to him and hugs her tightly, the blood rushes to Francesca's face as she raps her arms around him to hug him back.

She waves him goodbye as she goes on her merry way, as she's walking home she thinks to herself, " that hug..! It..it felt..weird? I mean I don't know, no ones ever hugged me like that.." she thinks that and continues walking home.

She gets home and finds Maximus sitting on the ccouch, watching his favorite show, Francesca says, "Maximus did you eat?", he says " yes I just got something to eat on my way, I got you some food too", she hugs him and says, " thank youu" she goes and gets the food and goes upstairs to her room, she changes into pink shorts and a pink shirt, she gets her hoodie from her bag and puts it in her closet, she sits on her bed, and eats while she's on her phone, after she finishes her food she sits on her desk to study, it's 3 pm and Francesca finished studying, she sits on her bed and opens her phone, a thought pops up in her mind telling her to text Xander, she goes and texts him and says " hey!" He opens the texts and starts typing, Francesca panics and gets out of the chat, she gets a notification on her phone from him and she opens it and he says, " hey! I wanted to tell you I really enjoyed the time we spent together even tho it was short " she laughs and says ," me too :)♡" he says, " can I ask you something?" Francesca's palms start sweating and she says, " yea sure" he asks, " can I have your number?:)" her eyebrows get raised up in surprise, and she says, " Oh , yea no problem, here you go" he takes it and says, " thank youu". They continue texting, francesca looks at the time and it's 5pm, she gets surprised and she tells him, "oh it's already 5!" He says "really? woah, time went by quick, it's really fun talking to you:)" she smiles and she says " you too♡" she says, " I'll text you later" he says," okay, take care of yourself" she
sends him a heart and she goes offline.

Xander's POV

I don't know, what am I feeling towards this girl, is this that thing they call "love" ? It can't be! I've only known her for a few days, why is it everytime I see her my heart skips a beat, why is it everytime I see her I get butterflies, I can't even get her out of my mind at night, even at school , everytime I see her I get this weird feeling, is it possible she feels the same? I don't know, I say that as I look at the empty ceiling looking for an ounce of motivation to get me out of my bed and do something to get me out of this mindset, failing to do that I just lay on my bed and listen to music, Luciana comes into my room, bursting the door open and she says, " Xander, Xander ! Look at this!" She says that as she shoves her phone to my face, it's a dress that she found online and she's trying to convince me to get it for her, since mom and dad aren't here, so I'm in charge of everything even my younger sister's stuff, " No Luciana, I already got you about six dresses and you didn't even wear one of them yet" I say that and Luciana gives me those puppy eyes. She always does that when I refuse to get her something like a dress she saw online or a pair of shoes or even a bag, I always fail to say no to her but this time I will.

It's 5:30, I can feel the boredom getting it's best out of me but I'm just not in the mood to do anything today, the only thing I can think about doing is texting Francesca, what if I ask her to meet up with me again right now? Or is that too much? I mean we could eat at a restaurant or go anywhere, hmm I'll just wait for tomorrow to see her. After all that would be better I guess.

It's Wednesday, I have to get up for school but I'm thinking to skip it, but then a random thought pops up and says " wait..Francesca's going today!" Instantly, I get up and go to wake up Luciana, and I find her sitting on her phone ready for school, I asked her, "when did you wake up?" She said, " I didn't even sleep" I look at her with surprise, " wait, what? you didnt sleep the whole night? What were you doing?" She replies, " I was looking for new dresses online", I look at her and I sigh and I get out of her room and to the bathroom, I washed my face and got ready for school, while on our way to school Luciana asks me a question and she said, " Xander, are you okay? You seem weird lately " I look at her and I say, " what are talking about? I'm totally fine", even tho I have quite alot of things going on in my head but I don't really want to talk about it.
