The next day at School Dominic wasn't there, he was apparently 'ill', but I'm pretty sure it's because I'm a stupid idiot who upset my first friend that hasn't turned against me, URGH, my life is a wreck.
"Skye, you've been staring at that Tree for almost five minutes now" Tom laughs, snapping me out of the trance I was stuck in,
"Sorry" I muttered, looking around at Sam, Andy and Tom who were staring intensely at me.
"Wanna go to Trent's form? He seems to cheer you up" Sam offers,
Great, it's obvious I'm a miserable twit,
I just nod in reply, and we slowly make our way to F1, Trent's classroom.
"Bright eyes!" Trent greets, standing up and walking over to the door way, where I'm awkwardly leant,
"Hey Trent" I sigh, not in the mood for making deep convocation,
"Trent, Skye's a bit down today, Dom's ill and you seem to be able to cheer her up" Andy explains, I just decide to zone out, I'm intrigued by a boy that I saw Trent talking to before he approached us, he had deep similarities to Dominic.
The boy had brown curly hair, but it wasn't an Afro, Hazel eyes, and a light tanned complexion.
"Who's he?" I question, interrupting Trent and Andy's convocation,
"That's Jesse, he's actually Dominic's cousin, so that's why they have a lot of similarities" Trent explained, practically reading my mind.
I watched Jesse for a while longer, mesmerised by the similarity him and Dom have,
"Do you want to go for a walk?" Sam offers obviously bored,
"Sure" I smile, following the boys off and down the corridor.
We headed down to the canteen, where Trent decided he wanted to get a sandwich,
"Ham or tuna?" The school chef offered,
"Ham please" Trent smiled, handing the lady the correct amount of money, and taking his sandwich over to a table where we sit.
Want one?" Sam offers, handing me an earbud, I smile and put the single headphone in my ear, 'Ballad of Mona Lisa' by Panic! at the disco starts to play, a song I've learnt over time to be Sam's favourite, which honesty I don't blame him.
"She paints her fingers with a close precision" Brendon Urie, the singer of the band started to sing, and Sam started miming the words, I just watch him laughing at his stupidity,
"WOOOOAH MONA LISA, YOUR GUARANTEED TO RUN THIS TOWN!" Sam screams as the chorus kicks in earning loads of weird stares, I quickly cover his mouth with my hand,
"Sam!" Andy hisses, "no one wants to hear your voice!"
Trent and I exchange an awkward glance, both obviously trying not to laugh out loud, but the second we catch each others eyes we just loose it.
I only stop laughing when Mr.Pink enters the canteen and looks at us with hatred building up inside,
"Let's go?" Trent offers quickly, standing up,
"Yep!" Andy grins, and we all quickly exit the canteen laughing.
"Remind me to avoid the head for the rest of my life!" Trent giggles staring at Sam, who's still jamming to songs on his phone,
"What you listening to now Sam?" I ask,
"MACARINA!" Sam shouts, starting to do the dance,
"We need to out sing him" Trent jokes, I look at him with a cheeky look in my eyes,
"What song?" Tom grins,
"I'll press shuffle on my phone and whatever song comes up we sing?" Trent sighs, obviously a bit annoyed were going to embarrass ourself just because of his joke suggestion.
Trent gets out his phone and clicks the screen,
"Love me again" Trent says blankly, phew, this songs on now 85, so I'll actually know it,
"I'll stop, people don't want to hear your voices" Sam teases, I see Trent come over relieved.
"Trent!" I hear a voice shout, I turn round and see Jesse, jogging up to us,
"Jesse!" Trent greets, holding out his arm, and they do this 'manly cool guy' slap handshake thing.
"Can I hang with you guys?" Jesse asks, and we all nod,
"Cheers" Jesse grins, Trent looks at Tom, Sam, Andy and I,
"Jesse this is Sam, Andy, Tom and Skye, they're Dominic's friends" Trent introduces, and Jesse gives us all a small nod,
"Dominic, oh yeah! Where is that looser?" Jesse grins, and I sigh
"Ill" I state simply, even though I'm pretty sure he's not.
For the rest of lunch I just tag along at the back of the group,
"I'm sorry Dominic" I sigh
