After getting his bike from the front of the building, he walked it blac to his new car and was relieved that it fit in the trunk. (AN - I don't know if a bike would fit in this car, but i figured he should bring it home somehow)
He then drove home and was met by Jack and a light lunch. She of course noticed the new car, and, for once in her life, thankful for MI6.
Around 3, a young man came to the door and gave Alex a package that he said was from mr. Smithens. Deciding to trust him, he opened it once he left.
Inside was a blue charm bracelet, a shining silver and a rainbow of colored charms. There was also a note. It was Smithens telling what each charm did.
The gold charm was the tracking device. A violet, when held by Jack for 3 seconds, sent out an SOS signal. There were 2 blues, light and dark. They were both small tranquilizer darts that lasted for, due to the small size and dosage, 10 minutes. The pink and red also did the same thing, letting out a small smoke screen 3 seconds after it was taken off. And last, a yellow charm was the fingerprint sensitive opening, so only Jack could take it off.
He gave the bracelet to Jack, who insisted Alex was being a bit overprotective. After some convincing, she put it on, and promised it would stay.
Eager to drive his new car, but not eager to leave Jack, Alex was on his way back to his school by 4:30, after a long goodbye to Jack.
He got back to his dorm around 6:30, put the necessary things in his safe, and went to the dining hall to get dinner. Of course, 7 is also when Dave, Scott and Josh decided to eat as well. Of course they asked questions, and he told him that his uncle Ben had gotten himself hurt, and Alex wanted to visit him.
About a week passed, and Alex was still worrying about Jack. After all, Chase was still out there. His worries were (mostly) put to rest though, because that evening, at 5:15, he got a call from Jones saying that, somehow, Brendon Chase had been found and arrested, and would now be put in a more secure location than last time.
Maybe Alex will get through college after all.
