How many times has a person used your bridge to kill you and break your bed? Here are some ways you can prevent that from happening, and also kill them.
Design number one:
At the part further away from your bed, put a few pillars with a one block gap. Make them go higher by one block each time, until you reach four. Brake the sides of the pillar so that the highest block is floating, but only do this for the two block high one and taller. This way if the person comes, you will see them, and if they fall, they will have to use a pillar to get up, which is easier to spot, and you can also kill them this way.(These are only parts of the bridge, they don't take it all up, so you can mix the combinations.)
Design number two: Make a pad on the bridge, and put holes in it.
Design number three: Make a three by four platform, and put edges on it. In the middle towards your base, put a hole. Then, make a roof three blocks away from the floor, and put a block coming down from the roof, directly above the hole. In front of the hole, put a block. This way, the victims(VICTIMS HA HA HA HA HA) will automatically jump, and face plant into the block that's coming down, and then, down you go!
Design number four: Above the bridge, make a pipe that can fit one block in it. Then put water in that space, so when you break it, then the water gushes out, and they get pushed off, or slowed, and that's a chance to get some free hits on them.
Design number five: This is quite a costly design, but it could save your bed. On the top of the bridge, put a few iron golems. Make a hole in the roof, large enough for an iron golem to attack and fall into. So when the iron golems chase the player, they will fall, and hopefully scare the away, put it does, however, not need players to do it.
