Bakugo walked into the coffee shop and walked behind the people who were in line. He waited patiently until he was up to order.

There was a really pretty girl at the cash register, smiling at him.

"How can I help you?" she asked. He blushed at the girl, but looked up at the menu. He ordered what he wanted and she nodded.

"Okay! That'll be $4.83." she said. He fidgeted with his wallet, pulling out money and handing it for her.

"Thanks, and a name?" she asked.

"Katsuki Bakugo." he said.

"Cute," she smiled and winked, "okay! It'll be out soon."

Bakugo smiled softly as he walked to a table, sitting by himself. He went on his phone, waiting to hear his name called so he could get the coffee he ordered.

He looked up from his phone to see the cashier from before sit down across from him. She smiled and set his coffee down in front of him.

"Mind if I sit here for a bit? I'm on my break." she said. Bakugo set his phone down and shook his head.

"I'm Y/n L/n," she said, "It's nice to meet you."

"I-It's nice to meet you, too." Bakugo said, looking at his coffee.

"You're pretty cute." she said, looking at him.

"O-oh, you too." he said. She smiled and laughed.

"You're shy, aren't you?" she asked, resting her head on her hands.

"I guess." he answered.

"Hm, can I have your number?" she asked him, tilting her head. Bakugo looked at her, a bit surprised. "Don't worry, you can have mine."

She grabbed a napkin and pulled a pen out of her apron. She scribbled down numbers, and shoved it at the boy along with the pen. Bakugo grabbed another napkin and wrote down his number, gently pushing it towards the girl, the pen on top.

She smiled and took the paper, putting it in her apron with her pen.

"Thanks! Maybe I'll text you later, I dunno." she said, looking over towards the line of people.

"O-okay." he said, looking at her and giving her a small smile.

"Where do you go to school at?" she asked, her attention returning to him.

"Oh, I go to UA. I'm in the hero course." he said, taking a sip of his coffee.

"Woah, so you're gonna be a hero?" she asked.

"I dunno, maybe," he shrugged, "I want to be."

"That's really cool! What's your quirk? Is it cool?" she ask, leaning forward in interest.

"It's called explosion. It enables me to create explosions from my palms from the nitroglycerin like sweat I secrete." he explained.

"Wow, that's cool!" she smiled.

"Thanks," he smiled awkwardly.

"Haha, of course! Anyways, my break is about to end! I'll see you later." she smiled.

"Wait," she looked over at the ash blonde, "Want me to walk you home when your shift ends?"

"Oh, sure! It ends in two hours, if you want to wait, you can." she nodded.

"Okay! I might order something else, any recommendations?" Bakugo asked.

"The lemon cupcakes are really good." she smiled.

"Thanks." Bakugo said.

"Yup! I'll be back in two hours!" she said, waving as she ran back to the cash register to tell her fellow employee her break ended and could take over for him.

He eventually ordered the cupcake she recommended, and ate it as he sat on his phone, waiting for Y/n. Soon, he saw her walk over to him, holding her apron in her arms and a bag slung around her shoulder.

"I'm done! Let's go." she smiled. He nodded and stood up, slipping his phone in his own bag, slinging it over his shoulder and followed her out of the shop. Bakugo looked up at the sky as they walked, admiring it.

"My house is just up there," she pointed up ahead after a while of walking, "I can walk the rest of the way, thanks for walking me!"

"Are you sure, it's n-no problem to walk a bit further." he said.

"Nope, all good!" she smiled. She gave him a quick kiss on the cheek and smiled. Bakugo blushed, it had caught him off guard.

"I'll text ya later, bye!" and with that, she skipped away, down the sidewalk.

"B-bye." he called after her. She gave a thumbs up as she continued down the cement, not turning around.

Bakugo smiled and shoved his hands in his pockets as he turned around to walk home, the girl he had just met taking over his thoughts.
