The Restaurant Owner Mina (Sword Art Online fan-fic) [ON HOLD]

Day 7: This time

He rushed in through the door and took up his sword from his belt. I was very surprised by what happened afterwards. Mr X jumps up, taking his sword out, ready for the fight. The mysterius man search fast thought his main menu to find the duel botton and challenge Mr X to a duel.
Challenging a person to a duel is the only way to kill someone within a safe zone. And it seems this unknown man was set to kill Mr X.

The moments after that is all in a blur, I don't remember all of it. I could hear the sounds from the swords clashing and see the after images, but then after a few minuets or secunds, it was black. I probably fainted but I can't remember why. Memories of my life outside of Aincrad, the real life, came to me.

I live in a quite normal family with a big brother, a sister and my parents. Each morning we would have our alarms set on the exact same minute (mom excluded, her‘s go of earlier in order for her to have the breakfast ready in time) and on the highest volume possible. It sounds like a choir of ringtones. The reason? Everyone of us has a hard time waking up and thus we 'support' each other with our alarms. My dad works as a teacher and my mom is a manga artist/ mangaka. Mom is the only one who stays home all day while the rest of us leave in order of club/teacher activities.

I'm currently going through my highschool years as a loner since mostly of the girls in my school hates me beacause of my quiet and shy personality, even thougth I am pretty mutch standing out a lot in SAO, it does not mean that I stand out in real life. I have a short build to begin with so the only thing I wanted was to become longer. Everyone in my family is longer than me, even my sister. God is so unfair.

I do not know how long I slept but I woke up the moment I remembered what had happened before I fainted. I found myself lying in my own bed. Confused about what time it was I looked at the clock.

-Woah! This time already, I need to help down in the restaurant.

I ran out of the bed and changed my clothes. I thought it was strange that I did not remember either getting home nor taking on my nightgown but since the clock was already over ten I quickly threw the thought away. I saw the Mr X siting at one of the tables in the restaurant. It was full of guests and the servers seemed to have a hard time. But I didn't bother with them and walked straight to mr X's table.

-Seems to have made it out alive. You didn't do anything strange to me yesterday, right G.U.I.L.O.Z ?

He looked up at me with a surprised look on his face. It was the funniest face I had seen in whole my life. It felt like I was going to laugh my lungs out but I held back, after all we were in a restaurant that was full of people.

-When did you...

-Oh, since awhile back. I must say you look much better without that beard and dirty hair.

His face turned back to normal and he said to me.

-Oh really. Well, about time you find out anyway since we need to get going to the 22nd floor.

-Now? Isn't it a week to early? Everyone else is gonna open theirs next week. And we do not have a plan since you did not show up properly at the guild meetings.

-That is not an issue, I have everything figured out already so lets go!

He took my hand and dragged me together with him out of the restaurant.

-But, my things...

-Well get them later, first follow me! I'm gonna show you my masterpiece.

I did as he told me. I have to admitt, I was a little curious on what kind of masterpiece it was.

Phew, finaly done. I worked all day with that animation clip up there. Hope you liked it. Somehow the chapter ended as planned, I had a hard time getting the sentences right.
