Chapter 4

Naruto woke up groaning knowing he would be on a genin team today. God he hoped he wasn't stuck with Sakura or Sasuke, or even worse... BOTH!!

Shaking those thoughts away Naruto got up and got ready for the day. After getting dressed in his new shinobi outfit Naruto headed out via a shunshin since he was already late. He arrived and quickly headed into the classroom only to hear Iruka talking and groaned. He was late.

When Naruto opened the door many, but 6 of them (+1 dog) gasped in surprise. Who the hell was this!?

A man with golden blonde hair with black and red in it and orange at the tips that fell down to his middle back with jaw length bangs. Dark blue eyes that not even oceans beauty could compare to gazing at them. Perfectly tanned skin.

He was wearing black ninja sandals, black anbu pants, silver bandages around his ankles to his knees. Two black and silver belts around his waist forming an X. A black Jounin shirt with short sleeves. Around his neck and falling to his waist was a red scarf. On his forehead was a headband replaced with black long cloth from the original short blue one.

He also had two earrings. They were crescent silver moons with black suns inside of them. His hair was also tied into a ponytail to prevent it from moving around to much in the wind.

"NARUTO!! WHY ARE YOU LATE!?" Iruka demanded ignoring everyone's shocked look that this was Naruto. How could it be Naruto!?

"Well... you see I woke up extra early this morning and had decided to take a walk through the forest and as I was wandering through it I saw a injured girl and took her to the hospital. She woke on later and asked me for help to save her kidnapped fiancé. I then helped her by fighting a demon and beating it then I was taken into a hotel by a bunch of girls who all decided to thank me for saving their future queen and king from danger." Naruto said straight face making many twitch marks appear on Iruka's head.

"Just... just go sit down Naruto." Iruka said and Naruto did so and sat by Shikamaru who only smirked back at Naruto.

"Anyway. Team 7. Sakura Haruno. Ino Yamanaka. Sasuke Uchiha. Your sensei is Kakashi Hatake."

"Team 8. Kiba Inuzuka. Hinata Hyūga. Choji Akamichi. Your sensei is Kurenai Yuhi."

"Team 9 is still in circulation."

"Team 10. Naruto Uzumaki. Shikamaru Nara. Shino Aburame. Your sensei is Asuma Sarutobi."

"Now you all have lunch for 1 hour before the Jounin arrive to pick you up. An remember if you ever need help you know where to find me." Iruka said before leaving to the staff lounge to relax then get work done he had put off for a little.

Little Later

"Do you know anything about our sensei Naruto? Why? Because it could be useful to know our Jounin sensei." Shino said and Naruto hummed before nodding.

"Yeah. Uncle Asuma as I call him. When he came back from serving in the guardian 12 in service to the fire damiyo he was like an uncle to me. He is the son of Jiji. He a rare wind type user in the land of fire. He uses trench knives that can use his wind nature chakra with them. While he is mainly a close range fighter he isn't to bad at range fighting with wind, but it's a bad idea to use wind against fire so he mainly uses close combat." Naruto said and the other two nodded before looking at Shikamaru.

"Troublesome." Shikamaru said indicating he was awake. "This rest we're gonna get is most likely a teamwork test. So here's how we will go. Naruto you will use your speed to keep him on the move to try to get him into my shadow. Shino once I catch him you will drain his chakra while also giving me cover." Shikamaru said and the two nodded before eating their lunch in silence. It was nice.
