So recently I've gotten into Haikyuu. Enjoy some Kagehina angst while I sort out my writers block.

Hinata PoV:
I clutched the ceramic rim of the toilet. Blood dripped and swirled from the corner of my mouth. My face was pale and I was shaking. This had been going on for a week but now something was new. The coughing fits were old and I had no trouble covering them. But the blood started yesterday and now this.

Flower petals

They were a rich blue, and silky. They would have been beautiful is they weren't covered in blood. I seriously needed help. I decided to ask Suga-San. He would probably know. I glanced at the clock. 6:30. If I ran, I could probably run into them at Ukai's shop. The third and second years were practicing today. The first years had a break.

I washed my face and grabbed my keys. Slipping on my shoes, I slammed the door of my apartment and rushed towards Karasuno. I hope I didn't pass anyone I knew. Unfortunately, life hates me. And I ran into Tsukishima and Yamaguchi. I was nearly at Karasuno too. They seemed like they were...on a date?
"Oi shrimp. Where are you going?" Tsukishima asked.
I opened my mouth to respond but then felt a coughing fit coming. Oh no.

I shut my mouth and sprinted towards the school. I needed to get to Sugawara. I heard footsteps and shouts behind me. And realized that Tsuki and Yama were following me. I ran faster and my lungs felt like they were exploding.

Suddenly, the gym came into view. The lights were still on. Thank god. I slammed the door open and rushed in, frantically looking for Sugawara. I spotted him and ran towards him,but halfway I felt it.

No ones PoV:
Hinata collapsed in the middle of the gym. He coughed loudly. Blood spills onto the floor. In a second, the rest of the members were crouched over him, even Tsukishima and Yamaguchi who had followed him. The orange headed boy was trembling and whimpering as Suga tried to calm him down. Kiyoko had ran to get the mop and a bucket.

He kept coughing while the others had begun to clean up. Suga was with him, slowly feeding him water and Tsukishima and Yamaguchi were supervising. Daichi was trying to call his parents while they were on their business trip but no one answered.

Suddenly, Suga and Tsukishima stepped back with tears in their eyes, gasping, but Yamaguchi looked confused. Everyone was slightly confused until the saw what happened. There, in a pool of blood, lay deep blue flower petals. Suga had fallen down sobbing, while Tsukishima was muttering no over and over again as he examined the flower petals.

After they had calmed down and Hinata had stopped coughing, they sat down to let Suga explain.

"You have Hanahaki." He said, bluntly. Tears threatening to fall, but everyone except Tsuki seemed confused. The tall boy sighed.

"Hanahaki is a disease of one-sided love. It can be cured 2 ways. Either with surgery which makes you lose all memories of the one you loved, or  true loves kiss, from the one you love. If you don't, it's fatal. Depending on how much you love the other person, you die faster. If you really love them, you could be dead within a week, Hinata." Tsukishima said, eyeing Hinata.

Most of them were crying by now, but some refused to let Hinata see them sad. The poor boy was drowning in his own tears. Suga straightened up, wiping tears from his eyes. "Right now we need to know who you like. Who is she Hinata?" He asked in a gentle voice.

"I like...boys." Hinata whispered, afraid of judgement. But Daichi just laughed. "It's fine. Most of us here are gay anyways. So who is this boy? I have a feeling I know who it is but I need to be sure. May I conduct an experiment?" He directed the last part to Suga, who nodded. Everyone stepped away from Hinata, except for Daichi who pulled out his phone and opened the photos.

He flipped through them one by one, Hinata shaking his head each time, until they reached one and Hinata started coughing violently. Daichi sighed and turned his phone towards the team. There, was a picture of the one and only,

Tobio Kageyama.
