Talking about the case...

On the murder investigation day, I went to the school to find out the truth on my own. It wasn't like I was interested in her death; it was probably because the announced prize to whoever finds out who the murderer is was promising enough to change my life.

I wasn't surprised to meet around twenty of her friends there. All of them seemed to be depressed, and some of them were even crying.

I scanned my surroundings before I looked down in the little notebook that I always carry with me to write some notes.

● Name: Stephany.

● Age: 15.

● Death cause: Poisoning and knife stabbing.

● Suspects:

- Millie.

- Jonathan.

- Julie.

Just in case, I was the one who wrote the "Suspects" part; no one wanted to tell me who they could be. I guessed it was confidential information, so I made my own list with a short description of each one.

✔️ Millie was in the same grade as Stephany, but in another class, 5° "C". She was known as her enemy. She used to steal her pens, hide her notebooks, invent rumours about her, and even tried to steal her boyfriends, but failed miserably. I wonder why she wasn't expelled, after being incorrigible with lots of suspensions and detentions.

✔️Jonathan was Stephany's ex-boyfriend. He had a very bad reputation among our classmates and was that noisy and problematic student to every teacher in the school.

When he confessed to Stephany, I thought she would just reject him, but I was wrong. They started dating, and everything seemed perfect.

They were always glued to each other, just like a piece of chewed bubble gum and a desk in my classroom. They didn't care about anything else; as long as they had each other, nothing else mattered.

Not long after the sweet phase of their relationship, Jonathan became manipulative and possessive over her. He won't even let her hang out with her friends, yelling at her during the most ridiculous arguments.

Sadly, Stephany was blinded by what she thought was love, and she cried silently in the loneliness he caged her in. Her face turned to pale and tearful, her academic performance dropped, lost weight, and her beautiful chubby cheeks.

She was suffering too much that she attempted suicide. She was found in a restroom at school with a razor in one hand and a deep bloody cut in the other one. Despite losing too much blood, she still survived.

After some self-reflection, she broke up with Jonathan and blocked him on every social network. But Jonathan's insane obsession with her didn't stop him from chasing her.

He wanted Stephany only for him and no one else. However, he gave up after some days, which reduces the possibility of him killing her.

✔️Julie is Jonathan's ex-girlfriend. She left school when she was little because her parents couldn't afford it, and she has worked as a housekeeper since then.

She was so crazy over Jonathan that when he left her for Stephany, Julie threatened him. At that moment Jonathan was so happy with her new girlfriend and he didn't really care about Julie.

Those were the potential suspects who I decided to work on to find the real murderer and win the prize.

(Note: Any similarity with real-life people is just a coincidence).
