KAI'S POV
*RING* *RING* *RING*
I flicker my eyes open and slam my hand down on my alarm clock. What time is it...7:30?!"AH! I'm going to be late!" I yell as I pull myself out of bed. I brush my teeth and rinse my hair. My phone starts to buzz, and I look to only see Rian calling me.
"Hello?"
"Where are you man? I can't find you." Rian asked.
"Ahaha I didn't wake up right away to my alarm! I'll be right there!"
"Okay hurry, it's getting cold standing in just one spot." He yawns.
"Yep I'll be there in less then 5!" I say as I hang up. Rian and I go on jogs every Monday, it was the summer and while we were both under stress picking and applying to colleges we needed to relieve our stress by going on jobs I guess. I throw on joggers and a t-shirt on my torso and sprint out the door. I live close to the park, which is where we meet so it really only took me 2 minutes to jog there.
"I'm here!" I say gasping for air.
"If that jog made you tired than you better prepare for this one." He laughs. Rian was my best friend since childhood, and he wanted me to go on jogs with him to get my bone body into a tone body.
"I'm thriving." I laughs as I catch my breath.

"Woah now that jog made me tired." He sits on the pavement. I pant as I try to jug down all his water since I forgot mine on the way out. "Leave some for me!" He chuckles.
"Oh sorry!" I laugh as I hand him the water. "I'm going to get some coffee at the shop, do you wanna come with?"
"I'm actually meeting my girlfriend at her house, another time?" He asks. I smile and nod.
I actually didn't really get sweaty, I just get really out of breath when I run or jog. By the time I got to the shop I caught up with my breath.
"Hello! What would you like!" The server asked as I stood up to the desk.
"I'll just take the iced Carmel coffee." I smile.
"Okay that'll be ready shortly!" She cheers.
I sit down at one of the waiting chairs they had and scrolled on my phone, as I scrolled on Instagram I saw a picture of this girl that went to m school hugging her parents, with the caption 'my parents anniversary.' I sigh. I didn't have parents, they abandoned me when I was 16 when they found out I was gay. Now it has been 2 years and as managed to get an apartment and I am trying to look for a job. My mother secretly sends me paychecks every month so I can manage, she didn't care I was gay but she didn't do anything when dad kicked me out. I guess she was afraid he'd kick her out too.
"Erm hello?" A young man appeared in front of me and sat down. "They called for your drink but you didn't answer so they had me bring it to you." He smiled politely. Oh I must've been too zoned out.
"Oh um thanks." I say as I grab the coffee. He smiled and got up from his seat and sat somewhere else. I didn't think much of it so I got up and left the coffee shop. I started walking home but then I realized that the same guy was behind me. What? He wasn't following me, was he?
To test it out I decided to cross the street, and he crossed it too! Then I took a sharp turn down a street that wasn't mine, I didn't want him to follow me home! And know what apartment I live in! I look behind me to see he wasn't there. Oh. Maybe I just over thought it. I decided I didn't want my coffee anymore, thinking he could've still slipped something in it and just waited for me to drink it so I through it in the nearest garbage I could find and walked the rest of my way home, not seeing him.

I decided to take a shower and I threw on an oversized t-shirt and some shorts. I made my way over to my desk and opened my computer to check if any of the colleges I applied to accepted me. None. None. None. I felt my eyes tear up. I had good grades and participated in many clubs. Why did none of these people want me. No one wants me.
I shake off the thoughts as I hear a knock on my door. I sigh and get up to open it, and I saw the same guy that I saw at The coffee shop.
"Why are you here? what do you-" A towel wrapped around my mouth and nose before I got to finish and I started to see everything blur. What was happening. Soon everything including my mind went black.
