Chapter 4

KAI'S POV
It happened again. It was the second time I had been drugged to a point where I passed out. I look around realizing I was in the same room I was first in. I felt anger rushing through me, I look at the window and run over to it. I was going to crash it open and jump out, so I could be free. Right before I could even touch the window a yank of my ankle made me fall on the ground. I yelp as I hit the ground. What?! I look at my right ankle to see a chain wrapped around my foot. I look where the chain leads and it is chained around the bed post. I sigh. Why couldn't I die? Would Rian be worried right now? I don't have a job and Rian would be the only one realizing I was gone. The door swings open, I expect to see a a man but instead a old women stood at the door, she was shaking viciously.

"K-Kai?" She asks. She looked as if she had been crying a lot.

"Mom?!" I say. I didn't recognize her at first but I soon realized it was her.

"Oh Kai I am so sorry!" She cries more. I run over to her to hug her. Yes I was mad at her for not standing up to dad for kicking my out, but she was scared of dad and it wouldn't be any better if she got kicked out too. Before I could reach he the chain prohibited me to go any further.

"Mom." I look at her, holding my arms to her. I needed to be comforted and I'm sure she did to. I was so confused.

"N-No you can't hug me. This is my fault." She breaks down in a full meltdown.

"No! No mom it's not! We are in this together!" I whisper.

"No. I came to say goodbye. I sold you." She says in a painful voice. My heart stops. Sold me? What...?

"What?" I ask taking a few steps back. You can't sell people, can you?

"I'm sorry! This was a mistake!" She says as she runs out of the room. I here her say something to someone. "I want to leave now." There was silence and then I heard a door shut. My mom left me? Rian. Where was he?!

I look at the door to see the man I've been seeing a lot of. "I'm sure you're confused." He says with a almost sad face. No, he doesn't get to be sad!

"Did my mom sell me to you?" I hissed.

"...yes." He sighs.

"BULLSHIT! I HAVE A LIFE! YOU CANT JUST KIDNAP ME!" I scream as I try to run towards the window again, but yet again the chain made me fall. Instead of getting up I stay on the ground crying.

"Shhh, it's okay. You're safe. You're in no harm." He says softly as he walks over and squats next to me. I look at him, my eye stinging from crying so much.

"What do you want from me?" I hissed. My nose scrunches up and my eyebrow furrow in anger at the silence he was giving me. His eyes widen and a smirk appears on his face, his once green eyes turn into a darker shade. What the heck? He leans against me, which make me crawl back fast. He only got closer until the point where I bumped up against the bed and I couldn't go anywhere from him.

"Your love." He whispers in a low voice in my ear, then he starts to lick it. Shivers go down my spine and I feel paralyzed like I can't move. He pauses and backs away and gets up, he stumbles a little way back and has a face of...fear? He covers his mouth and looks at me. Usually I'd be upset but I was more confused and shocked than anything.

"What did you do to me?" He whispers in a voice where I could only barley hear.

"What do you mean?" I say timidly as I get up and hide behind the bed post in defense. His eyes slowly turned a lighter shade of green and he quickly left the room without answering me. Without closing the door. I didn't do anything to him! HE was the one who is kidnapping me and tried to lick my ear! Anger rushes in my body and I look at the bed post. I could break it off. I quickly tried to pull at it but it wouldn't move. I backed up a few steps and rammed into it making it snap very quickly. It was wood. I slip the chain off of it and then I was free. The chain was still on my foot but I could walk around still. I slowly walk to the door and look both ways. I could leave and take the risk I would be caught or I could go and jump out the window. I'm sure if I try to escape now they will kill me anyways. Might as well try. I run down the hallway going to the stairs. I slowly go down the, no sign of people. I rush down all of them until I'm finally at the end. There is a door, with a small window showing the outside. Freedom! I go to open the door but it was locked. Shit. I look around for keys or anything I could unlock the door with. Nothing. No. No! I started breath heavily, the running down the stairs finally locked up with me and I was out of breath I looked at my clothes. I was still in the same clothes I had on. How many days or hours has it been since I went outside last! Rian is worried about me! I know it!

"Going somewhere?" I heard a familiar voice say. I jump to see the same guy, but this time he was holding keys in one hand and a gun in the other. I start to shake. I wanted to to die now yes, but it still scared me.

"Who are you?!" I hissed.

"Im Xavier but you can call me daddy." He winked. What the hell? His moods change so fast.

"Okay Xavier, are you going to kill me with that gun? Or let me go with those keys?" I ask. I was scared as hell, but anger as fuck.

"Neither. I was going to go on a killing spree, to clear my mind but I guess I have to take care of you first." He sighed.

"K-Killing spree?" I ask my eyes widen. Tears stream down my face, he was a killer who was going to hurt me and others!

"I would never hurt or kill you!" He said panicking. He dropped the keys and gun and walked over to me and gave me a hug. I know I should push away but I was so scared so I sobbed and just let him hug me. "I'll explain everything." He says as he led me upstairs, leaving the keys and gun on the ground. I wanted to pick them up but I knew I couldn't be able to escape.
