After we left the store, they mentioned something about a prison?
"A prison?" I asked. They both nodded and carried on walking North.
"So what happens when I get there?" I asked. Carl looked hopeful to his dad.

"We will lock you in a cell for a few hours until we decided to ask you some questions, if you pass the test we will let you stay. If not you don't."
Rick said. I was shocked.
"Dad! She just saved our lives and you want to lock her up still!?!" Carl yelled at his dad.

"It is ok. I know how hard it is to trust people these days." I said to Carl and Rick.
Rick nodded but Carl shook his head, like he was disappointed with his dad.

"We can't do that dad!" Carl said, still complaining.
"We do that to everyone, it is only fair." Rick said, arguing with his son. Carl decided to stop but he still looked frustrated.
We carried on walking until we got to a car.

"They don't work." I said, I had already tried all the cars before I had to hide in the house. They were normally out of gas or had crashed.
"This one does." Rick said.
"How? I tried all these." I said.

"We found this one working a while ago, it hasn't been here the whole time. Just for about an hour." Rick replied.
"That explains it." I said dumbfounded. I sneaked a peak a Carl and he was already looking at me.

He must of noticed me because he had started smirking at me. I looked away quickly and blushed. Carl was still smirking because of the effect that he had on me.
We eventually reached a prison, it looked safe... for once, a place that actually looked safe and something that could protect me.
"Ok, please step in here." Rick said pointing to a cell.
I stepped in without hesitation.
Rick nodded, like he was thanking me for doing it without a fuss.

"How many walkers have you killed?" Rick asked. What were walkers? Is that what they call them?
"Is that what you call them things?" I asked. Rick nodded.
"Well, I have killed none." I said. Rick looked surprised. "How?" He asked.
"I ran." I said.

"How many living have you killed?" Rick asked.
"None." I said again.
Rick looked puzzled.
"Do you know how to use a weapon... any weapon?" He asked.
"No." I said.

"Ok, I will get Carl to teach you." Rick said. I nodded and he let me out.
"We are a bit short on cells so you will have to share a bunk bed with Carl." I nodded and Carl came down and showed me to my- our room.

"You want the top or bottom?" He asked me.
"Bottom please, I hate heights." I said. He nodded and climbed onto his bed.

It was pretty late because they found me at around 6:00pm and we got back at 7:00pm and the 'interrogation' took 1 hour considering being locked up for half an hour.

"Goodnight." Carl said.

"Goodnight." I said back.
