CHAPTER 13

Mariana.

"Rosita,my baby I never knew you felt hurt all this while,you are my angel, you don't have to hate an innocent girl and your twin sister especially please Rosita,I promise I will always make time for you,I love you so much,im sorry"Mariana said crying and patting Rosita.

"You are our daughter,we love you,you should have made this known to your mother instead of nursing the pain alone"Mariano said.

"And please honey don't hate others because of my mistake"Mariana said.

"So, group hug"Mariano said spreading his arms.

"I have no lectures today so let's spend the whole day together hanging out"Rosita said smiling.

"Sure I'll cancel all my appointments"Mariana said.

" Me too,I go take a bath now"Mariano said.

"Thank you Mom and Dad.

"Anything for you princess"Mariana and Mariano chorused.

      The slum area.
"Dianna are you going to the hospital, please how is Rosa doing"Mona asked sober.

"Now you care about her,I'm sorry I can't tell you,you have know right to know, Excuse me"Dianna responded angrily.

"Oh my God please let Rosa be safe"Mona said as  David walks up to her.

"Good morning ma "Says David.

"What are you doing here,are you here to take me to jail"Mona said shivering.

"No I'm here because Rosa sent me here,ma I know you deeply love your niece and you are not a terrible person,you became this way since you lost your husband,you feel you have nothing to live for,but I want you to think about Rosa,her love despite the way you treat her,she believes you can still change to the old you,I'm her on behalf of Rosa, please ma change,if for nothing but please for Rosa,she needs you more than you will ever know.

"You are right, Rosa is my neice,and I love her so much,I only hurt her when I'm drunk I'm really sorry, David I try as much as possible to stop but I can't,I feel im dying slowly if I don't drink, please help me" Mona said crying.

"Don't worry ma,I will help you and Rosa"David said.

"Thank you so much"Mona said giving David a hug.

   At the hospital (Rosa's ward).

"Rosa dear,I will be going now"Nimfa said.

"We will visit you later at night after work so please take care"Daniel said.

"Thank you so much ma and sir,I really appreciate your kindness"Rosa said blushing.

"Rosa is recovering fast,if she continues like this then maybe by tomorrow she can be discharged"The doctor said.

"Wow that's a good news,thanks Doc"Nimfa said happily.

"Thank you Doc"Daniel said.

"That's a great news"Alex added.

"Yeah,good news it is"Rosa said sooner Nimfa and Daniel leave.

"Why do you look sad"Alex asked.

"Why isn't David here yet"Rosa said  looking worried.

"Maybe he went out,since we all don't have classes today"Alex replied wearing a frown.

"Rosa look its Dianna,oh! There's also Natty,Clary and Diego aww"Donna said.

"Thank you all for coming, it's nice to see you guys,if I may ask, Diego where's David"Says Rosa.

"He said he is doing something important"Clark answered.

"Maybe he is looking for inspiration for a new song"Dianna added.

"Yeah I think Dianna is right"Diego said.

"Oh really"Rosa said looking sad.

"Stop being sad we are here for you"Natty said and brings out the pizza they bought.

"Yeah,we are here to cheer you up"Rahul said dancing to his words.

"Don't worry David will be here soon"Dianna said,Mona and David walks in.

"Rosa dear"Mona said.

"Aunt Mona"Rosa said as they hugged each other

"My dear I know I don't deserve your forgiveness but I will still ask for it,dear please forgive me for everything I have done to you please forgive me"Mona said crying and wants to go on her knees.

"No Aunt,I'm not mad at you,I forgive you no matter how much you hurt me,you are the only family I've got.

"I will go for rehab, David said it's going to help me stop my drinking I'm going today,I only came to check on you and ask for your forgiveness.

"David what's going on I don't understand"Rosa said dumbfounded

"David talk some sense into me,I told him I can't live without alcohol and he said there's a way,in about a month time I will be myself again"Mona explained.

"But I don't have enough money to pay"Rosa said.

"Don't worry Rosa everything is on me,I promised you I won't give up on your aunt just as you haven't given up on her,and I'm exacting it"David said.

"Thank you so much David,I will be forever grateful"Rosa said continually.

"Thank you David for making me realize I have something to live for, thank you so much"Mona said .

"It's nothing, let's go then"David said.

"Bye Rosa"Mona said and they left.

*****************************************Mona finally gets a chance to be a better person again,to face the future.
