Hello! Still no comment. I'm sad ); you people are ungrateful.

I froze. Mom hasn't called me, or made any attempt to talk to me in general, in one and a half years. Why now? When my life has been going so well?
Should I call her back? No. My mom nevery returned my calls when I missed her, or if I needed her advice on school work or boys.
I took a deep breath before continuing on my path to the pool. There, the boys and Eli were all playing water volleyball, having the time of their lives.
"What, you guys started without me?" I gasped in fake shock. I couldn't help but notice all of the boys eyes lock on my body, making me a bit uncomfortable and insecure.
"Uhh..," Liam started.
"Sorry, we can um, restart," finished Niall. Louis and Harry pried their eyes off of me to engage in a private conversation between them and my sister. I decided to join the other team of Niall, Liam, and Zayn.
Hesitantly I dipped my toes into the cool water. It was a neutral temperature, making it comfortable. Not that it mattered, since Louis took it upon himself to splash me anyways.
"There. You needed to get wet," he said triumphantly. A cheeky smile crept up onto Harry's face before he muttered something that put the whole group into a laughing fit.
"That's what she said."
Even with all of these distractions, my mom's call still haunted my thoughts. I know, it's just my mom. That's just it though! I haven't actually had a real mother, and I'm not sure I even want or need one anymore.
I waded my way over to my three teammates as we began our game. I must admit, volleyball was not my forte. If it was my turn to serve, the ball bounced back to me on the net. If it flew near me, the other boys realized that they should cover it for me. All in all though, the game was good fun. We jammed to all different kinds of music on the radio which was on the side of the pool. Our fun lasted about two hours when the clock hit four and we decided it was time for lunch.
"What's on the menu, Gorg?" Niall asked, his stomach growling ferociously.
"You'll see," I smirked. I created turkey and ham sandwiches with chips and Coca Cola. The boys seemed to enjoy, and I knew prior that it was one of her favorites.
I couldn't help but notice Niall's eyes trail up and down me as I ate quietly. I made sure to cover up my stomach because I didn't want him staring at my rolls. I shifted uncomfortably and continued eating. Finally we finished our late lunch, and we were completely dry in our suits.
Five o clock and I still couldn't shake my mom out of my head. Who could I tell? Not Eli. Not when she's practically forgot about her like I did. I didn't want to bring the pain back to her.
The next closest was Niall. He's the one who's been there for me since the beginning of this season of X Factor. I truly felt that I could completely trust him. Which is why I called him into my room privately.
"Niall? Can I talk to you?" I asked shyly. His eyes clouded with concern as he nodded his head slowly.
"Don't get too frisky in there!" Harry called as we dismissed ourselves to my room. I caught Eli smacking him on the arm playfully while everyone else started giggling.
"What's wrong?" he asked, his voice laced with worry as I closed my door. Just then I noticed his cheeks were an adorable shade of red from Harry's comment. That's so cute!
"Do you remember when I told you about my mom and dad?" I couldn't look him in the eyes as I asked the question. Instead I took a seat on the edge of my bed, staring down at my feet.
