Hey! So basically this is a short chapter 12 in Niall's POV. Not necessarily a chapter, but necessary!

*NIALL'S POV*
"Chug! Chug! Chug! Go Niall go!" the party people chanted and cheered. I had to admit, I was already completely loaded. An Irishman needs his pints, alright? I ain't no alcoholic. I mean, I'm seventeen now. Turns out Gorgeous and I's birthdays are only seven days away. I didn't tell anyone though because I didn't want to make a big deal.
I swallowed another bottle in matters of a minute, my vision playing tricks on me. I stumbled a bit before exclaiming, "ANOTHER!" Everyone laughed and continued chatting and dancing to the loud music.
"Hey Carl?!" I shouted. My new buddy, just as drunk as I am, nodded in acknowledgment. "Have you seen my girl, bro!?" I bragged. I know Gorgeous wasn't my literal girlfriend, but I was planning to ask her after judges' houses. I didn't want to ask her, and then have to leave her. It wouldn't be fair...
"Yeah dude, that chick?!" he pointed to my bright eyed beauty, dancing on...Louis!? Anger and jealousy immediately clouded my mind more than the alcohol already has. Her long, straight, brunette hair swung to the beat of "Living On A Prayer" and I noticed beads of sweat forming on her forehead.
"She is a terrific dancer bro!" my newfound friend added, eyeing her up and down. That certainly didn't help. I will admit, I was a bit of a jealous type, and I needed Louis and this guy...Carl...to know what was mine.
"Yep, and you know how me and the boys are on X Factor?!" I hollered over the tune. Carl nodded again, full attention on me.
"Well, she's Simon Cowell's niece! He's my mentor!"
"She's Simon Cowell's niece?!"
"Yeah dude! And since I'm gonna be with Simon all of the time, I have a better chance at winning her heart!" Wow. That came out better in my head...stupid beer.
"What the hell dude?! That's really corny!" he joked. I rolled my eyes, not wanting to explain any farther. I just wanted to pry Gorg off of Louis.
I turned to glance at her, and she was staring at me, not too far away, with a hurt look. More of a look of disbelief as well.
"Gotta go dude!" I mumbled, waving off my annoying acquaintance. "Hey baby!" I greeted as I inched my way to her in the crowd. I lost my footing a bit, but thankfully I didn't fall. When I finally reached her, I brushed my hand through her tangled hair.
"Um, hi..," she said awkwardly. That's when I noticed that actual tears were waterfalling out of her beautiful, big, brown eyes. I could tell she tried to hide it, but it was no use.
"Baby was wrong?!" I slurred a bit. She rolled her eyes a bit as I spoke. Did she care when I drank? Did she not like it? Shit, I screwed up. What'd I do??
"Oh, um, I just stubbed my toe." Seems legit.
"You're not mad that I'm drinking, right?" she smiled weirdly, nodding her head no and looking at the floor.
I took that as a positive sign, and in my too drunken state I continued to party with my mates.

Fiksi PenggemarHi, I'm Gorgeous Olivia Taylor. Weird name, I know. I work for the Xtra Factor to stay with my Uncle Simon. Just your somewhat average girl. No beautiful features..just brown hair, brown eyes, freckles. The norm. Don't forget that I'm all American...
