It's official. Josh and I are officially a 'thing'. Whenever I think of it I can't help but giggle. I came here a single person, but now I'm taken by a green eyed cutie.
Hehe!
Today, Janice, Ivy, and I are going prom shopping after school. We meet Ivy at the mall after school when we've freshened up a bit.
"Hey girlfriends!!" Ivy greets us with tight hugs.
"Sup?!" Janice greets.
"Same ole same ole!" Ivy shrugs.
"You ready?" I ask.
"You bet I am!" Ivy answers
"Let's roll!" Janice comments as well. Dragging me towards the shop.
I thought the last time I went shopping with Ivy was bad, but this is the icing on the cake. With Janice and Ivy constantly dragging me to a shop, I'm sure we won't leave here without trying out all the dresses in the mall.
"Nope! I'm not wearing this." I deadpan.
"Oww come on! This dress is perfect." Ivy tries to persuade me. I look at my self in the mirror, and I don't like it. The black dress I'm wearing now is pretty and all, but it dips too much at the front, showing a lot of cleavage. I know I'm supposed to dress to kill, but this won't do.
"I'm gonna try this one on." I say, going back to the changing room with a black dress in my hand.
"This one is too short." I complain.
"Why don't we put you in my mom's wedding dress then? It's long enough and it covered her well. With puffy arms and all. You'd look spectacular!" Janice is exasperated at this point and she is now teasing me. I roll my eyes at her, while Ivy laughs at Janice's stupid suggestion.
"Now...that would... be a sight... for... sore eyes! Hahahaha!!" Ivy can't even say a full sentence without laughing.
"Shut up!" I huff at Ivy's with a scowl on my face.
I couldn't hear what she said because my phone rang, distracting me.
"I've gotta take this." I walk away from them and to a secluded area.
"Agent? This is Blake from the research team."
"Hello Blake. How may I help you?"
"We have figured out the location of the drug dealer. You are to attack next week Friday as planned."
"That is going to be very helpful. Thank you."
"Yes it will be. And it will lessen your work. No need to thank me, it's my job. After this call, I will text you the address. Go according to the plan, and everything else will fall into place. Understood?"
"Understood."
"I'll leave you now. All the best." He hangs up.
I can find this guy and take him down. There will still be time to go to prom.<•>.<•>.<•>.<•>.<•>.<•>.<•>
"We need a plan. They are making a move next week Friday. How are we gonna stop them?"
"Do you have the address?"
"Yeah I do. Blake from the research team called me. He later texted me the address."
"Then there's nothing to worry about. We have done this a thousand times, yet you are always still worrying about it. Just do your thing. Barge in there, and kick some butts."
"Thanks Dan." I reach up on my toes to give him a hug.
"Anytime A." He hugs me back. "Now let's get back before Ivy kills Dave."
"Yeah! I'm sure he is even dead by now. Trust Ivy."
"I'm not sure of that. Janice is a pretty aggressive girlfriend. She wouldn't let Ivy hurt her man without putting on a fight." This makes me laugh.
We head back to the others. Because I called the boys, our shopping trip had to be put on hold. For that, I'm secretly thankful. The boys get some coconut latte and doughnuts for us.
"Why won't you guys tell what is going on?" Janice asks, looking from me to Dan.
"Because there is nothing going on. Besides, even if there was something going on I wouldn't tell you. You—my dear—are a blabber mouth." I answer her, earning a gasp from her.
"I am not!" She defends.
"I'm sorry, but you are." Dave confirms.
She whacks him on his head.
"I don't remember asking you. Humph!"
"Sorry babe!" He grins sheepishly while rubbing his head.
I wonder why Dave hasn't had a concussion yet. The rate at which his head is almost always being smacked or whacked is impressive. Ah well!{#}[#]{#}[#]{#}[#]{#}[#]{#}
"Hi Naise."
"Hi Josh. What's up?"
"Nothing much, just helping my mom cook. What about you?"
"I just got back home from shopping with Janice and Ivy. Shopping is so exhausting. I couldn't find the right dress. All the dresses they chose for me was either too short or showing too much skin."
"Now that isn't so bad. I wouldn't mind staring at your legs in a short dress." I can almost hear him smirk.
Is hearing a smirk normal? Ah well!
"You perv!" I hear him chuckle at the other end of the line.
"I'm not a perv babe. Those legs are yours, and since you are now mine then I call first dibs."
"Weirdo!" I laugh at how silly he sounds right now.
Josh and I talk for two hours straight before I tell him that I have to go bed.
"My mom would like you to come over for dinner tomorrow. She said to wear something comfortable. You in?"
"Yeah I am! Your mom is the coolest."
"Great! I'll tell her then. Okay... good night, for real this time."
"Good night."
"I know you will dream about me so dream about me wearing clothes. I don't wanna think about all the perverted things you dream about me."
"Pssshhh! You wish! That's ridiculous. Go to sleep Joshua Carmichael." Before I hang up, hear him laugh.Hey y'all!!✌🏽Sorry for the late update. How did you like this chapter? I enjoyed writing it. I haven't got much to say so I'm reminding y'all to stay safe and keep reading and voting❤️
