Pride sat in front of her grandly decorated mirror, examining herself, while Envy stood in the shadows glowering, his eyes transfixed on her face, her hair, even her mirror. She had always had that mirror, since time began, it was here and it was such a thing to behold that Envy was surprised she could bring herself to leave the room, even if it was only on the occasion that she did so. If he had something like that, he would never let it out of his sight, lest Greed tried to steal it, it was the only personal possession in Hell after all. Of course Pride would get that honour. Never would it have been him to get something like that.
Pride cackled as she spotted him, "Come to spy on me again Kain? Not that I blame you of course, how could I? But surely you have your own duties to attend to?" His eyes narrowed into slits, his disgust evident in his voice, "Please explain to me Narcissa how admiring yourself in a mirror can be a duty to you? We both know you would have found a way to do that even without that monstrosity." Narcissa, instead of looking even mildly offended like he had hoped, smirked and tutted him, "Now now Kain - we both know that I'm the favourite here, you wouldn't want your deadline for this years quota to be shortened, would you? You would have to stop coming here everyday if I did that," she taunted him, flicking her hair over her shoulder and grinning coyly at him, her eyes dancing in delight as he took the bait. Storming over to her side, Kain glared down at her, " You've been helping Lust again, haven't you?" He accused, "I'm not stupid Narcissa, I could recognise that look a mile away - why do you always help her out?" He whined the last bit, his jealously rearing.
Narcissa laughed gleefully, "You must surely know why, Maeva and I have had this arrangement going on for centuries! If you hadn't have guessed by now, then you surely are as stupid as you seem." Kain looked away, embarrassed, of course he had never been as clever as her, but still, he pointed out, "Those types of relationships are forbidden here." Narcissa stared at him in surprise, "And you do remember what Maeva's job is, right? Out of anyone, her reason is simply the best, if its her job to give humans all those lustful thoughts, then surely she must have some of her own, and it's only natural that they would be about me," she explained to him, like a mother would a child. Kain supposed that made sense, if Narcissa was the origin of Maeva's lust then of course Satan would let them bend the rules, especially with the speed those two completed their duties.
At that moment Maeva sashayed her way into the room and draped herself across Narcissa, her hands resting dangerously close to Narcissa's breasts. "Is the idiot disturbing you my dear?" She asked, looking Kain up and down, sizing him up. "Not really, though his stupid comments are unwelcome," Narcissa replied her arms circling Maeva's waist, pulling her close to her body. Their familiarity with each other spoke volumes to Kain, it was obvious this had been going on for a while, how had he not noticed? It was a match made in hell, Maeva would encourage Narcissa's vanity and Narcissa would give an outlet for Maeva's lust.
This revelation was confirmed when Maeva whispered, "You are so damn sexy, Cissy" and proceed to kiss Narcissa with a burning passion. Narcissa, who was ecstatic with the compliment, returned the kiss eagerly, and angled herself so that Kain would get the best view, once again torturing him with what she has. Maeva bit down on her lip, regaining Narcissa's attention. While the two were engrossed in each other, Kain moved to stand in front of the mirror. Unlike he expected, he did not see himself in the mirror, but rather a young girl, brushing her hair.
