Once again Wrath found Sloth slumped in a chair, his eyes closed and breath even; asleep. On duty. Again. Wrath's blood boiled, they had duties for a reason after all, and it's unfair that Sloth was always let off when it came to doing actual work. Striding up to him, Wrath clapped her hands together, loudly, attempting to awaken Sloth, yet she got no acknowledgement. That enraged her further, and upon seizing the man, she flung him effortlessly from his chair.

"What the bloody 'ell was that for Vara?" demanded Sloth, nursing his shoulder. Vara glared icily at him, "You damn well know why you lazy son of a bitch Arion. That's the 27th time I've caught you asleep in three days!" Arion smirked lazily and replied calmly, "I'm only trying to set a good example for my humans Vara and besides they seem to do very well on their own." This only irked Vara more, Arion had used his abilities to persuade the human governments to do nothing in crises recently and without his influence they would eventually start to wake from their stupor. And that would make things more difficult for her. "Master has become too complacent with you, he doesn't even lay off Maeva and Narcissa this much, and they both do much more work for him than you. Arion, you and I both know, if they found out, you'd be screwed," Vara said, her hands resting on her hips. Arion lifted his eyebrow, "And how would those two find out? They are much too enchanted with their little arrangement to even notice me."

Vara cursed inwardly, no matter how lazy that oaf was, he still had his wits about him. "I'm going to bring it to their attention," she stated. Arion, sensing she was completely serious, contemplated her for a moment. Wrath was the least selfish of the sins, she rarely did anything for just her own good, which meant she knew something he didn't. "What's going on Vara? What do you know?" He asked lazily trying to disguise his alarm. She glared at him, it had always annoyed her when someone tried to mask their emotions, an awful waste of time it was. "Master has been thinking about getting one of us - preferably the one who does the least - to supervise the building of something. And he said it has to be done quickly. You can't deny you do the least Arion, but there is no way you could complete something quickly," She told him, "If you started another big project in the human's realm, I doubt he would bother you for the next few years." Arion chuckled, "I didn't know you cared Vara. Alright. I'll start something, but don't think I don't know you did this for your own benefit too." He waved her off and settled himself back in his chair.

Vara, while pleased he was doing something, was rather annoyed that he saw through her. Though, she supposed, it would be rather out of character for her to care enough about one of the other six to warn them about their Master's new plans. Usually she was able to manipulate them without it being noticed, but she had always found that hard with Arion. He was just too darn frustrating. And the two love birds were sickening and cocky. Whatever Maeva and Narcissa thought, they were not the favourites - though she knew their relationship amused their Master - she was the one Satan had the most contact with after all. Most probably because her thoughts were the closest to his own. Being the favourite was a burden. A painful one at that. While knowing was power and all that, having the images of recent punishments inflicted upon the newest humans in the realm ingrained into her brain was distressing, and she did all she could to desensitise herself to it.

Upon entering her quarters, Vara flung herself across the bed. Her temper under control for the moment, she relaxed into the sheets and drifted off. Ironically only when she was at her most peaceful was she able to do her work, and as she could feel the touch of the first human's mind, she channeled some of her 'negative energy' from the day into him, slowly recovering from her temper fraying.
