The crystals of The Hidden World lit up the night as a young Night Fury enjoyed a flight, he had just learned how to fly only a few weeks ago. He had pitch-Black scales, blue tinted tail fins, and red scales on his head. He looked down at a pool of water below him, and glided down toward it for a drink and a quick rest.

He landed near the crystal clear water, and the small waterfall that fed it. He bent down and lapped some of the clear water, when he heard a rustle from the other side of the pond. His head and ear-plates shot up and he watched as a bone-white dragon emerged from the underbrush. It looked exactly like a Night Fury, except it had spines on its head, shoulders, front legs, back legs, back, and tail, it had silver stripes going down its sides, and silver eyes.

The little fury quickly jumped back behind a fallen log as the mysterious dragon approached the waters edge.

"Wh...who are you?" The small fury asked, obviously shaken.

The white dragon stopped and studied the head of the Fury, that was poking up above the log, "My name is Silver, who are you?"

"My...my name is Dar...Darkwing, what...what kind of dra...dragon are you?" Darkwing asked Silver.

"My species doesn't have a name." Silver answers, with an amused look, slowly moving towards Darkwing.

"My...my parents told me to never talk to or go near any mysterious dragons." Darkwing quickly said, ducking back behind the log.

Silver chuckled, "Your parents are right, but I'm not going to hurt you. "He slowly walks toward Darkwing, the spines on his body moving as he walked.

Darkwing slowly peered over the log again, "What...what are the spines doing?"

Silver stopped, and sat on his hind legs, "Oh don't worry, they just move according to my emotion, but I can shoot them like a Nadder." He studied Darkwing's face for a second, "You don't need to be scared."

Darkwing ducked back behind the log, "How do I know you aren't lying?"

Silver had a warm look on his face, "Does it look like I want to hurt you?"

Darkwing peeked over the log again, "n...no."

"Well you said it yourself, what's a little guy like you doing here?" Silver asked curiously.

"I just learn how to fly, and was taking a little break." Darkwing answered, coming out from behind the log.

"Hmm, you should be careful, there are still wild animals in this part of the sanctuary." Silver answered.

"Oh, okay...what are you doing here?" Darkwing asked curiously.

"Well, I was grabbing a drink and rest before I go hunting." Silver answered.

"Hunting?" Darkwing asked.

"Yes, I may be a bit young, but I know what I'm doing." Silver answered, laying down by the waters edge.

"How young are you, you look grown up?" Darkwing asked confused and curious.

Silver chuckled, "I'm fifteen winters old, you?"

"I'm eight moons old." Darkwing answered.

Silver looked surprised, "Well, you learn fast for your age, so kudos to you."

"Thank you...I guess."

"But honestly, what did I expect from a Night Fury?" Silver seemed to ask himself.

Darkwing tilted his head in confusion, "But...you look like a Night Fury."

"Well I may look like a Night Fury, but I certainly am not." Silver gets up and swings his tail, shooting some white spikes into a tree near Darkwing, who yelps in fear and dives back behind the log.
