Pair - Eunwoo & MoonbinAfter helping in his grandmothers flower shop since he was just a child, Moonbin had learned so much from her, he had gone from picking the daisy's to make Daisy chains and flower crowns for her, to arranging beautiful bouquets and table decorations for wedding venues.
Years passed as Moonbin began to work there full time to support his Grandmother, he had always loved her dearly, She had taught him everything since he was a baby when his parents passed away from a car accident. Her and her Husband raised him as their own and on the day his grandfather passed, his grandmother told him just how proud his Grandfather was of him.
As years went on Moonbin stayed in the Flower shop for years, he loved the different colors decorated by ribbons and lace into beautiful bouquets, he often took bunches of flowers to his Grandmother and the two of them would make bouquets for customers together.
Every week on the same day, a guy around his age would come in and buy a small bouquet of lillys, the two would spend a while talking to each other if the shop was quiet. After a year of visiting the flower shop, Moonbin became good friends with him and occasionally met up for coffee with him or to go to the arcade.
"Nana, I'm going out to meet with Eunwoo, but don't worry, I won't be long, would you like me to get you anything?"
"no... thank you sweetheart... you have fun... be safe dear... love you"
"of course I will, goodbye Nana, love you too!"
Moonbin waved goodbye to his Grandmother as he walked down the stairs of their apartment and through the flower shop to where Eunwoo was waiting outside.
"Are you ready to go?"
"yeah, Let's go!"
Eunwoo held out his hand for Moonbin to take as they began to walk toward the coffee shop, without any hesitation Moonbin held Eunwoo's hand and smiled to himself. The two of them arrived and Eunwoo ordered their drinks as Moonbin sat down at one of the empty tables, the pair stayed for around an hour as they talked to each other about their days and about family.
"How is your Grandmother? Is she any Better?"
"she's okay... She.. She doesn't seem to be getting any better.."
"I'm sorry to hear that Binnie....if you need anything at all, please call me."
"no no, I don't want to be a burden on you..."
"don't worry, you aren't a burden."
"are you sure.."
"I promise."
The two of them walked out of the coffee shop holding hands and made their way to the park for a while, they sat together on the grass for a while in silence until Eunwoo spoke.
"Moonbin."
"yes?"
"I have a question.."
"what is it?"
"Will you be my boyfriend?"
"of course I will woo!"
Moonbin leaned over and hugged Eunwoo tightly before Eunwoo hugged him back. The two of them sat there for a few minutes just watching the fish in the lake swimming around and the cherry blossom leaving patches of blossom on the water.
Moonbin looked up at the clouds and started to see ones shaped like animals, out of the corner of his eye he saw a small white dove flying past the two of them as Moonbin pointed it out to Eunwoo.
"did you see that, it was so pretty!"
"yeah, it was on its own though, wait look, there's three more waiting up ahead.."
"aww cute, they are waiting for it to catch up to them."
"yeah"
"I just noticed the time, I should probably head home, it's been over an hour, and I'm running slightly over my usual lunch break time."
"I'll walk with you."
"are you sure?"
"yeah, I don't mind, besides, I wanted to get some lillys while I was there."
Eunwoo and Moonbin walked together back to the flower shop, Moonbin opened the door and went into the back room to pick up the lillys for Eunwoo.
"I.. I never asked.. And I was curious, how come you buy lilys every week?"
"they're for my sisters grave... they were her favourite flower... "
"oh.. I'm sorry.. I didn't know.."
"it's okay, don't worry about it..."
"okay..."
"I should get going, tell your grandmother I hope she recovers soon."
"thank you woo, goodbye..."
"bye Binnie.."
Eunwoo walked out of the flower shop and Moonbin walked upstairs to talk to his grandmother, she was always excited to hear about his time with Eunwoo, she would be so happy to hear the news.
"Nana, I'm back and guess what!.."
Nana
Nana?
Nana please....
2 weeks later
Eunwoo was sat beside Moonbin in the small apartment above the flower shop, the room was different, it felt empty to Moonbin since his grandmother passed 2 weeks ago.
"woo.. I miss her"
"it's okay Binnie...."
"I..."
"She's still in here."
Eunwoo smiled as he pointed to Moonbins heart.
"I know.. But.. I just keep thinking about something..."
"what is it.. You can tell me.."
"that day we went to the park.. Remember the dove... I can't help but think it was my grandmother.. It may sound stupid but..."
"nothing you say is ever stupid Binnie."
"woo?"
"yes Binnie?"
"do you really... love me?"
"of course I do Binnie, don't ever think otherwise, I'll always love you."
Eunwoo held Moonbin closer as he fell asleep beside him, he kept his arms wrapped around him until he fell asleep.
