CH. 3

Flashback:

Jungkook was cooking for their lunch while Taehyung was back hugging him also Taehyung was helping him.

"Please pass the onion hyung." Jungkook asked— Taehyung handed it to him then buried his face at Jungkook's nape — not getting over with Jungkook sweet baby smell like— Taehyung just can't get over with Jungkook's smell.

"Hyung the salt please." Taehyung handed it to him.

"Hyung I need to wash the bowl I will move near the sink—" Jungkook said— but Taehyung didn't move with their position— Jungkook went to the sink Taehyung still back hugging him he just don't understand why Taehyung was so clingy today.

Taehyung rest his chin at Jungkook's shoulder.

"I heard there will be a kidnapping booth today."

"So I will be familiarizing myself with your smell." Taehyung muttered.

"Oohhh— really. Hmm— I will familiarize myself with your soft hands." Jungkook answered.

"Because you know the feeling whenever I touch you?" Taehyung asked and started become naughty—

"So you are telling me that Taehyung was the owner of Vante?" Jin asked.

"Yes hyung! What should I do? I can't always come inside his office wearing a facemask for him not to recognize me." Jungkook said whining and he throw his facemask annoyingly but of course get it for himself.

"Are you sure he didn't recognize you?" Yoongi asked as he was handing their order. Yoongi owns a cafe well this was Jin's cafe but he end up being the owner because he build his own music studio at the second floor.

"I— okay fine I don't care if he recognizes me or not— I just want to know what am I gonna do?" Jungkook asked frustratedly.

"You know that you can't runaway." Yoongi started. "It will just give us a proof that you haven't moved on yet." Jin added.

"I moved on— I am already done with him it is just I am surprised that he was my boss." Jungkook answered. Well right now Jungkook doesn't trust his own words— is he making his self believe on something he never really did?

"I am tired— I think I need some break." Jungkook said and drink his iced americano.

"6 years break was enough kook— why don't you face him and talk to him." Jin muttered.

"No way hyung! I will never not—" Jungkook saw a familiar image walking inside the cafe it was Taehyung. He was with a girl smiling brightly showing his boxy smile. Jungkook quickly hides under the table facing his back while drinking his iced americano.

Yoongi went to the cashier to take Taehyung's order. He ordered vente strawberry frappe for him and for the girl. Yoongi was guessing he was Taehyung's fiancé. After that they left already—

"It was as if there was a camera around them—" Jin commented.

"Like a cafe commercial hyung." Jungkook commented looking at them and take a sip of his iced americano again.

"Is it just me but my iced coffee tasted more bitter now?" Jungkook asked.

"No you are bitter." Yoongi and Jin both commented.

The next day ~

All of Taehyung's schedule were all set at Jungkook's table. He was currently reading them... he decided not to runaway because he was already over with Taehyung years ago. Right? It's time to face his fear... today. Taehyung will be a judge to a runaway today, and Jungkook was there to remind him.

Taehyung didn't saw him walking inside. He was busily reading some files, so Jungkook cleared his throat to give the CEO a signal that he exist— Taehyung looked at him. Jungkook tried to scan the older's reaction if they have the same but looks like the older didn't show any emotions... Jungkook bit his lower lip.

"Here is your schedule today sir." Jungkook muttered and place the clipboard at Taehyung's table.

"Thank you." Taehyung answered smiling.

"If— if you need me—" Taehyung stood up shit what again?! Jungkook thought as he saw him rise up from his swivel chair.

"Come with me in this runaway event." Taehyung muttered and walk first. When he went out to the company Jungkook was just following him. Taehyung throw the key to Jungkook good thing JK's reflexes are no joke so he was able to catch the key—

"You know how to drive right? I teach you back in high school." And Taehyung throw a sly smirk. Jungkook cheeks become red— shit! This pervert! Jungkook rolled his eyes then went inside the car. They are both inside the car Taehyung typed the address for the auction. He notice Jungkook's hands are trembling— Why the hell Taehyung was flirting with him? He was taken already— Jungkook still a glance and that moment he regret taking a glance of Taehyung— the CEO looked at him, their eyes met.

"W—what?" Jungkook asked.

Taehyung then suddenly moved closer Jungkook closed his eyes because of the sudden action Taehyung smiled. "Relax, koo." Taehyung said and buckled Jungkook's seatbelt. Then pat the younger's head. Jungkook rolled his eyes and started driving.

"How are you?" Taehyung started a topic.

"I am fine sir." Jungkook answered.

"You can call me hyung if it was just two of us." Taehyung said sounding so casual.

"I am sorry sir I can't." Jungkook answered. "I am your employee now." He added eyes are on the road.

Taehyung answered a phone call.

"Yes baby. I'm on my way." He answered.

"See you. Love you too." Then the phone call ended.

Jungkook tried his best not to show any emotions, he wear his most straight face for him to protect his self. He was over with Taehyung— he moved on.

When they arrived at the runaway the girl hugged Taehyung of course Taehyung hugged her back. Taehyung fixed the girl's hair and kissed his forehead. Jungkook stepped back— the girl noticed her and smiled sweetly to him.

"Who is he?" She asked.

"Oh— he is Jungkook my secretary. Jungkook this is Thalia my girlfriend." Taehyung introduces the girl to him— Jungkook gulped.

"H—hello." Jungkook said his voice was cracking.

"Sir— I'm... I will just wait you here at the lounge area. Enjoy the event." Jungkook said and bowed his head.

Taehyung was not able to stopped him as Jungkook started walking away from them. Thalia hold his hand. "Let's go?" She asked.

Flashback—

"Who is he Tae?" Taehyung's friends asked.

"This is my Jungkook, my one and only kookie my boyfriend." Taehyung introduces him to his friends.
