It was three days since I attended the party at Richardson's house. Since then I never stepped foot out of the house. The foot wasn't healing easily. It really needed to be shown to a doctor.

I discussed with aunty. She gave me a news that my school friend Angelo has become a doctor and had a clinic in Crater road.

Carter Road was the same area where I lived with my family seven years back before going to Hallnet.

Angelo, was my senior in St. Xavier School, he persued medical I remember. His house was near mine. He had a big time crush on Sharon. But Sharon was engrossed in her academics her aim was to  get enrolled in Business Management college. She was a bookworm but a sexy one I must say. He did proposed to Sharon and was rejected. Her family also moved out from Carter road.

Aunt gave me his phone no. And I planned to give him a surprise.

Today Aunt is going to NGO and there are some essential items to be bought from the market.

I told her I need an outing, so I will go there and get things and also visit Angelo. She agreed happily but warned me to take care of my foot. Then she handed me the list and the money.

She needed the car so I decided to go by foot as the market was 2 km away and on return will take cab.

By 10o'clock I was ready to go. I called Angelo, but his receptionist took the call and said he is away for a conference and will be back on 20th. I fixed my appointment with him.

I have decided to wear my floaters with jeans to be easy in walking. I was glad there was no pain currently.  collecting my bag I set out for SMV departmental hub.

The weather outside was windy and rain has already been forecasted.
The grey clouds can be seen in the far east sky. The echo of birds singing can be heard from the distance, I kept walking feeling relaxed.

I could hear the thunderstorm after a mile. Gradually the sky was turning dark. I started walking little fast.

Suddenly I heard the distant roar of cars engine an intrusion in nature's serenity. The car pulled up few steps away from me it was red sports car the same car whose owner has brought with him a chain of events since I got here.

I have reached the car it's black mirror roll down and that gorgeous face yelled at me.
"The weather is so unpleasant. Why the hell you are outside the house?"
He asked.

"I have to go to SMV Store to buy some essential items." I replied

"Get in. I will drop you there." It was more of an order. And I hated his tone.

"No, thank you I am capable of walking." I replied and started to move away.

When his firm hand grabbed my elbow. I tried to free it from his hold but making efforts with this conceited man is useless and I felt oddly defenseless.

"I think you better hop in it's going to be rain any moment, dont waste time. Besides I am not seeing anything you are carrying to protect yourself." he complained.

Apprehensively my eyes flickered upwards. A fat raindrop fell on my nose tip.

"Damn" I simply loathed this situation.
There was a smirk on his face. He enjoyed it and left my arm.

I reluctantly walked to the car and sat on the passenger seat, the engine crumbled into life.

The wind screen wipers whirred, moving back and forth. He drove in silence. I with corner of my eyes looked at his profile knowing that he looked mature and manly and he is no more the choclatey Giri of my memories. He had become a disturbing and unpredictable stranger.
