Middle School. Drama. Romance. Tragedy. Suspense. Another waste of time. But tell me what isn't? You try having a father as a criminal, and not to mention dead mother. Especially dealing with it all as an only child.

My mother passed a few years back and not in the way you would think. My dad was drunk one night and he beat on my mother and made me watch. Even after she'd plead for me to not be there to watch, he grabbed her by the throat, stabbed her in the head with the knife. Not to mention that blood all over my shirt, the cops came and ended my horror for the night finally.

Well, now I live with my adopted parents. And I refused to get close to anyone after the incident (can you blame me??). Well everyone but my UN-appreciated, always judged soul, just like me.

But why bore you anymore with my boring stories. It's time for lunch anyway.

"Hey Jade, will you be going anywhere this Christmas?" I asked gloomily as I always sounded. "To be honest I wanted to invite you to my place, you know, nothing special, just a sleepover... At the cemetery, our secret spot." She smiled grimly.
"Sure why not? It's not like I have anything better to do." I said showing her my new skeletal dress I bought the day before.

I don't mean to cut in or anything, but i was currently wearing my skeletal dress (shown in the picture in the beginning of the chapter) with some leggings that matched with it. my blonde streaks were pulled to the back of my hair. And i borrowed my friends platform heels. And my bestfriend had currently dyed her hair Rosie Red (pic of her will be in the next chapter) and she had her biker-chick outfit on and which looked cute, but just a little too much detail if you know what i mean...

-Back to our conversation-

"Well, i have a little surprise for us this Christmas... well more for me to be exact. You know my neighbor, the guy who wears navy blue, and his friends call him Jay? Well we are i guess sort of friends, and i know you liked him and everything... That's why i had to speak to you about something really important." She said not eating her food -P.S. that gave me a big hint that this was nothing good.  But i went along with it.- "Sure Jade, you can tell me anything." I said paying her  no attention because Jay was passing by and we actually for the first time made eye contact..

"Well we met up at a party the other night, and well i don't want this to seem as another horror movie or anything like that but..."- I cut her off, already seeing what was going on, if you know what i mean. Anyway, i just couldn't take it any longer. So i got up and left, yea that's right, i got up and left walking in the pouring rain, with no Romeo to come and give me jacket to protect me and  my eye-shadow- I'm not even going to mention that i am wearing contacts.-

But back to my "trauma" 

"No, wait please Gemma just hear me out !! We didn't do anything, he just asked me out. And i told him i wasn't interested...- Like i would ever believe she would deny the chance to date her secret boy crush since the 4th grade-

"Look, i get it, he gave you the chance and you took it, that's why you always see me by myself in the first place. I ran. Nope, i had no idea where i was going, but i just know i ran. my make-up wa running over my face, because i can feel the paleness of my skin. I accidentally bumped into Jay, accidentally knocking over all of his books.

"Are you ok?? No it's fine i can get it, you wanna talk maybe after school or something?" He said helping me pick up his books. "Yea that would be nice i guess." I said trying to make no eye-contact. "You look like a sea of death threw-up on you," His side-chick i think her name is Armonia said.

"And you look like the barbie's whom's head i ripped off last night. But thats none of my buisness." I said giving her the evil eye. "Stop it now you two! There is no need for such violence, we can settle this over lunch tomorrow, better yet, here is an invitation to my party on christmas eve. You can bring one friend if you want, the party is at 7:30 sharp. See ya there." He said being dragged by Armonia by the arm into another room.

I couldn't stop thinking about it so much that my book began to bore me. "Gemma, please tell the class who killed Romeo?" The teacher said sarcastically. "It was his uncle, well coming from the information from the your class set of books." The class began to do their "Ooo"s and "Ahhhh"s from all over the classroom. 

-RING RING RING- Finally the class bell rung and school is over, the day before Christmas Eve. What should i wear, it's too much to decide over now. 

Then i woke up to my room. Decorated, or should i say DESTROYED!! And im  not even going to act like i dont know who did it. It was Armonia. It has her name written all over it. But why?? She just met me and decides to do this?? Im surprised she has so  many friends! Ugh i must get her back. But first i have to clean myself up for the party tonight.

I fight my self to go back to sleep, but my body won't budge, i guess im stuck up early in the mornign at 8:29. What can i do now? Huh?? It's my phone buzzing -iPhone 6+- But whos calling me this early in the morning? I read the name and it's Jade. I am not even willing to talk to my Ex- Bestfriend after what happened yesterday. But i answer the phone anyway. And you won't believe who's voice i heard after the screams of pain and irony...
