" Lucas Allen? " My dearest friend Kelly, curiously asked. My friends were very shocked at the fact that this Lucas Allen boy danced with me.
I frankly, have never heard of him, so I can't fathom why it is such a big deal. If I have never heard of him, he can't be that great. His persona and looks blantly reminded me of the type of guy the girls in those cliche movies would go for; a frat boy with tattoos, perfect teeth, a charming smirk, and a deep raspy voice, and just loved to party. He was the type of guy who when you sat, bored and zoned out in your class, your mind would somehow wander towards him, nothing really specific about him, just generally his name and looks. He was a looker, but also a heart breaker. I was going more for a...
" Amber? " Taylor cautiously shut off my thoughts. She knew how I would completely zone out, everyones voices merely becoming a background noise until they would call my name and I'd jump back into the real world.
" Um. Yeah, I don't know how to explain him really. " I chuckled, picking at my deep midnight blue nail polish, my brown eyes darting to each one of my five friends. I wasn't popular, Kelly and Taylor being my friends since I was a freshman in highschool, Lizzy and Emily being since senior year, and Sam since summer.
" What do you mean? Was he nice and gentle, or rough and rude? " Lizzy laughed as she teased me.
" You're acting as if I lost my virginity! " I whisper shouted in the cafe I worked in on campus. I just got off my shift, so we all met up to chat before classes.
Sam snorted as she bent her head down, twisting her long red hair into a messy bun.
" Well, " I stuttered and stopped as Emily gasped, her large blue eyes fixed on the door. We all frowned and looked to where she stared, finding him standing there, with a smirk and his two friends on either side of him. All three pairs of eyes finding ways to peer over their black Raybans to take a look around the cafe. I rolled my eyes, spinning around to pull my hoodie over my head, not wanting to be noticed.
" Speak of the devil. " Lizzy giggled. We all pretended not to notice them, just continuing to speak to one another. I silently thanked my friends for not adressing me as Amber, and my middle name instead.
" Nicole, Emily asked you something. " Kelly laughed, her lips perking up into a small smile, silently teasing me for once again, zoning out.
I grinned, peering up to glance around, finding the boys behind us in a corner, I could barely make out their reflections in the window.
" Sorry, what was that? " I asked, playfully glaring at Kelly.
" I was wondering when our projects were do in Mr. Franks class. " Emily said quietly, she was always a quiet, happy soul.
Mr. Frank was our art teacher. Emily and I both wanted to be artists. So yeah, we were art majors. Lizzy wanted to be a History teacher so she was constantly blowing us off to study in her dorm. Kelly and Taylor were both in nursing.
I quickly replied to her, as my eyes flickered back to the window, seeing their reflections gone. I smiled, pulling off my hoodie.
" Finally. " I sighed. I turned to look at the girls, seeing them staring up with wide eyes. I already knew what they were staring at.
I huffed, " I'll have to excuse myself. See you guys in class! "
Pushing my chair out, I walked quickly away, dragging my feet to the door, with my head down and coffee in my hands. I pulled the door open, but it wouldn't budge.
" Oh god, this is a nightmare. Wake up. Wake up. Wake up. " I mumbled to myself. I pulled once more before trying to push it open, catching some eyes of people. The door opened with no hesitation, I frowned, embarassed to no end. I shuffled out of the cafe, feeling two warm arms wrap around me.
" Nicole. " Lucas whispered.
" It's Amber, actually. " I snapped.
" It is? Then why were your friends calling you Nicole? " He asked, confused.
" So you wouldn't recognize me, but that didn't work out, did it? "
He tensed up a bit but as quickly as it came it left, leaving just a chuckle. I noticed we were walking and ended up on the side of the cafe. I was suddenly pushed against the wall. My breaths becoming ragid, hot puffs.
" No, you're a stranger. " I strongly objected.
" How old are you? " He bluntly ignored my protest.
" Twenty. " I slowly said. " How old are you? "
" Twenty one. " He drawled, biting his lip, pressing his warm body against mine.
I gasped, slipping my hands up to his chest, creating some distance between us. I puffed out a breath of relief at that.
" Why is your heartbeat so fast? " I asked, my eyebrows risen at the fast pulse.
" Because of you. " He said, nuzzling his head into my neck, his lips finding their way to kiss the place where my neck and shoulder meet.
" Oh. "
He started to suck, teeth nipping at the sensitive, soft skin. I felt blood draw to the surface. I whimpered when his tongue darted out to soothe the harshly sucked area. I was fisting his shirt, not being able to find the strength to push him away or the words to protest with his actions.
I gulped as I felt him remove himself from me. I peered up at him to see him biting his lip, icy blue eyes focused on the mark he left.
" Mine. " He said before turning to walk away, leaving me to lean against the wall, breathing heavily.
