The past you shared with the Todoroki clan, especially the head, wasn't a pleasant one. Your mother loved Endeavor, or moreover, loved his money. She was constantly trying to get work from him, and when she did it was top priority. You, on the other hand, would kill him if given the chance. It wasn't rare mom's clients would visit her home office. And with multiple clients at once, people were constantly going in and out. You had even made friends with a few of them, and Endeavor wasn't one. Mainly because he was bitchy and rude. He'd order you around like a maid in your own home, make weird, insensitive comments, and was sadly even worse on your mother. Mom was a perfectionist to her core, who put a lot of pride into her work. Endeavor was a demeaning prick who doesn't even own respect women juice. He got angry if she took too long on his equipment, always criticizing and never critiquing. Just looking at his stupid face talking to your mom across the room sparked up your hatred. "Oh fuck." "What was that?" Hearing his voice your head snapped towards Shoto. "Oh, um," red spread across your face. "I hadn't realized I said that out loud." He hummed in response. Face remaining stoic even as he asked the next question. "Do you have an issue with my father?" His words incited whiplash, like being slapped in the face with a wet trout. They were blunt and shocking. You took a minute to recollect yourself before slowly answering him. "No offense to you, but your father's a dick." "Fair statement." He didn't even seem fazed.
What's up with this dude!?
"What! You're not gonna fight me on that or something?" "No. Why would I?" "I mean, I called your dad a dick." "As I said, that's a fair statement. He's a bastard." An uninterested tone was all he gave the words. You couldn't help but laugh. "Okay then. I was not expecting that." Your chuckling continued before dying off into the awkward silence. Todoroki did nothing to fill the silence opting to return his gaze to his phone. He tapped away
So much for conversation.
