I Love You... Do You?

I start to climb on the bed, I see Abyo & Ching start to set up their mattress & getting comfortable. I let out a sigh and I lay on my back. The lights go off, & now the only thing shining in was the moonlight. I turn over to my left side and I look out the window. I start to remember about the time Pucca moon-struck me. Gosh I was crazy over her.... But at the end, she knew how I felt getting chased around every day at every moment. Yet, it only lasted for a couple of seconds. I felt so embarrassed & I didn't know what had happened until I got told. I wasn't surprised especially coming from pucca. I let out a sigh and I feel someone moving the bed, I quickly turn around and see that pucca was now facing my way. I smiled & laid once again on my back. I start observing the ceiling & start counting the little marks on them. I hear Pucca make a sound and I face my eyes at her. She's sleeping so peaceful. I start thinking to myself

"How can this girl still see me the same?" i know I say that alot but I just still couldn't get it through. As I'm looking at her, I see a hair strand on her face, I try to softly take it off but she starts to move. I make it seem as if I was asleep.

Pucca's POV:

I wake up to something tickling my face, I look to see if Garu was doing something, nope, he's soundly asleep. I look over to Abyo & Ching and just as I expected, they're both sleeping peacefully while cuddling. How I wish that was me and Garu right now... I laid back down and try to go back to sleep, I start looking for a position to sleep in but nothing. I face once again at garu and start admiring his beautiful face. Not only was he the most handsome guy in all of Sooga Village, he was the bravest & smartest of all. I felt incredibly lucky to have him in my life, how I wish I could tell him with words, maybe that'll make a difference but I promised myself, as long as he doesn't speak, I won't either....

To show him that he'll always have my full love & support, no matter what.

I see him move, I start to panic so I fake sleep. He settled down & I start to feel relaxed. I lay on my hand and with the other, I start to play with his pigtails. His hair is so soft, I couldn't stop. I just really hope he doesn't wake up. I let out a quiet sigh & finally start to feel sleepy. As I was about to fall asleep, I see Garu wake up... I make it seem as if I was asleep and nod to him if he was alright. He looked surprised as to see me waken up. We both smile awkwardly.... I felt myself getting warm now, and I think he noticed... I lay back down and start to count the marks on the ceiling... ,Please go back to sleep....

Garu's POV:

I- that was the last thing I wanted, I really thought she was asleep. I just wanted to uh- admire her? I don't know whats going on now, y

Yes... I realized now that I do have feelings for Pucca

Yes... I want to tell her or at least show her

Yes... I want to be with her, I need her.

I glance over at her & see how she's looking at the ceiling. I started to think about how it took me this long to pay attention to what I really wanted. Yes I want to bring honor back to my family name. I always thought that was the main thing to focus on for the rest of my life. It caused me to ignore everything. Even pucca. But she knew how much she meant to me right? She knew that I loved her right? She was like my bestfriend, we all were, so she knew. Maybe not in the way she wants but I did love her.... She's under my protection at the end of the day... I let out a sigh. I lay back down on my back & my hands on my side. I see Pucca sit up and reach for her book. I read the title & smile.
