after classes were done for the day, there was some free time before the meeting started. eunhee and her friends gathered in mr. seo's homeroom. mr. seo was there and greeted them all warmly. shinwon showed him and eunhee the flyer that he designed. yoona clung to shinwon's shoulders to take a peek at the design and let out a loud yelp. "oh my god, that looks so cool, shinwonnie!" she mustered up all her strength to slightly pick up shinwon and spin him around, much to his dismay. shinwon quickly handed his tablet to eunhee before any damage was done.

"okay, please put me down," he requested and yoona kindly obliged. eunhee and mr. seo were very impressed with his design. eunhee quickly sent the file to mr. seo's email and requested that he ask the principal for permission to put this up around the school and to print out enough copies to hang up.

"shinwon, are you able to make a quick mock-up of something like this, but smaller? we could probably print a bunch more of those and print it out with like card stock and hand it out at the club fair," eunhee handed his tablet back to him. shinwon nodded his head and smile at her.

away from the loud commotion, minho brought dayeon into the back room of mr. seo's classroom. he texted her during class that he wanted to talk to her before the meeting. thankfully, dayeon agreed. "listen, just because i'm bi doesn't mean i would date you? you know that i don't like you romantically, minho," dayeon laughed. minho chuckled but shook his head.

"i didn't ask you to come talk to me, because i wanted to confess to you, dayeonie," he took a seat in one of the chairs in the small room. he looked up at her and raised his eyebrow. "this morning, when eunhee said the name park seoyeon, you looked kinda surprised. do you, by chance, know this seoyeon girl?" he was slightly worried to say the least. dayeon was never someone to give off any type of physical reaction to hearing someone's name.

dayeon sat across minho and let out a sigh. she laid her head on the table and looked down. "i used to be really good friends with seoyeon in middle school before i moved." dayeon whispered. "she was the first person who actually wanted to be my friend in middle school, and the first one to turn their back on me over a petty little grudge."

"why'd she do that to you?" minho asked her. dayeon looked up and gave him a somber look.

"the guy that she liked rejected her confession and said that he only had eyes for me," dayeon said. "she got annoyed and i only found out from him and a few of the other girls in our class. she told me at lunch one day and just cut me off. then she hung out with some other guys, which must've been soonyoung and his friends." dayeon shook her head and rubbed her temples. "it's kinda unlikely that it's the same seoyeon, though. there's like a bunch of people named park seoyeon, so it must be a fluke."

"she must've gotten over it, though. it's literally middle school," he leaned back in his seat, "everyone had a crush on everyone at some point. if it's the same seoyeon, i know you can take care of yourself, but i'm here in case you need me." minho stood up and pulled her up with him. "let's go and see the design that granny shinwon made for the doki doki literature club!" he gave her a bright smile. dayeon facepalmed and shook her head.

"alright," she complied. "you gotta knock off on all the teasing, though. shinwon may not show it, but he's hella ripped and could probably rip you a new one." minho shrugged it off.

"welcome, everybody! i'm so glad that you all decided to come to our first general meeting of the new semester," eunhee smiled at the people who came to the meeting. other than her exec board, soonyoung and a few of his friends came with him. "i'm eunhee and i'm the president and creator of this club. our club advisor is mr. seo, who is," eunhee looked around to find him, and then noticed that he's at his desk eating some instant noodles, "over there. uhm, i'm glad that he was able to sponsor this club, because without him, we wouldn't be able to meet! anyways, i'd like for my exec board to introduce themselves."
