The Werewolf and the Cat Girl...Chapter 5

A far off land...

Emerald's eyes slowly opened, she had a massive headache.

"Your finally awake..." a familiar voice said to the werewolf girl, Emerald quickly looked up in shock to see who was standing in front of her. In front of her was a cat girl dressed in all black, her mouth was hidden by her mask but Emerald could tell the girl was smiling.

"You." Emerald tried to stand up, but was immediately knocked down by the cat girl.

"Nice to see you too, Emerald...or should i say Lady Emerald?" The cat girl asked hiding a grin under her mask.

"What are you planning, Amy? I wouldn't take you as someone stupid enough to kidnap a Lord." Emerald snapped at the cat girl Amy.

"Well let's just say I didn't get  a choice to be stupid today" Amy reached to take the mask off her face.

"So your being paid to be an idiot? I thought you did that for free?" Emerald commented with a smirk. Emerald was usually pretty kind but she could be stubborn and sassy when she wanted.

"Oh shut it Emerald. Your lucky i can't hurt you." Amy hissed at the Lord she kidnapped.

"Why can't we just go back to being friends, Amy?" Emerald asked sarcastically, they were never really friends, but Amy used to be a kind individual...

Two Years ago...

Emerald was sitting at the docks with her mother, both women were staring out at the water talking about Emerald's father. Emerald's father had only died a few days before Emerald came back to Lightningville, she was forced to come back because of his death.

"I can't believe he's gone..do you think he's a Lunar knight?" Emerald asked her mother honestly not wanting an answer.

"I do not know, Emerald...but he died for us, child. He died to save us and save..."Her mothers voice trailed off as she thought about who her lover saved from another dimension.

As the two spoke, a scream was heard from the village, Emerald's werewolf ears twitched as she heard the scream.

"Mother, someones in danger.." Emerald said standing up and pulling out her green emerald sword.

"Go, go be a hero, sweetie" Her mother said, Emerald nodded and ran off to the village. As she ran she held her sword tight, remembering what her father told her.

"Remember, you fight not just for honor...you fight for your people. When you become Lord you'll need to protect your people from anything." 

She smiled as she remembered his words, her smile fell as she reached the village to see someone in all black robbing her home.

"Stop! In the name of Serine, lay down your weapon!" Emerald yelled, the person turned around. 

"Wh-who are you..?" The person asked taking down their hood to reveal their cat ears and long hair.

"I am Emerald, soon to be Lord of Lightningville. Now place down your weapon and belongings you stole." Emerald pointed her sword at the cat girl

"I-i'm sorry, i just..i just need to sell this stuff for money.." The young girl replied quietly.

"Your doing this for money..?" Emerald asked.

The young girl nodded as Emerald put her sword in its holder.

"..Here" Emerald handed the girl a few gold pieces, the girl was surprised.

"10 gold pieces, Th-thank you!" The girl said happily setting the small bag of stuff she stole down.

"Its no problem, you need the money more than i do" Emerald said smiling.

"I'm Amy..." The young girl said.

"Welcome to Lightningville, Amy" Emerald said to the small girl smiling.

The Present

"We weren't friends. All you did was give me a few gold pieces, i should have stole everything and ran.." Amy said getting annoyed with the Lord.

"I think you did the right thing. But i guess some Lunar knights can die from how stupid they were." Emerald said looking at Amy.

"I guess all Lunar knights make the wrong choices..especially your guard." Amy said with a smirk.

"What did you do to them. WHAT DID YOU DO TO THEM?!" Emerald yelled worried about her friends.

"Their taken care off...my daughter.."
