In the morning...

Kacey was already awake, she had woken up early like she always did, in her mind there was always work to do. Ally had still been sleeping, while Paul was heading upstairs. Kacey had been looking out at the ocean, it's what she used to do on long journeys like this.

"So are you finally going to tell me about how you and Emerald were pirates?" Paul asked approaching her.

"Paul, just drop it." She answered with a sigh.

"Alright, alright..." He started to walk away, he stopped after a few steps.

"So your never gonna tell me?" He said with a grin on his face.

"Paul. I'm three seconds away from pushing you over this railing." She said still looking forward.

"Alright, ill drop it...jeez" He said walking away from her.

Kacey looked out to the ocean, the ocean was the one thing she missed from her past.

A few years ago...

"Kacey! Isn't the water amazing! It's so beautiful!" A young Emerald yelled to her witch friend.

"Better than being back home i guess..." Kacey said as she leaned against the railing of the boat. Emerald and Kacey were different in many ways, Emerald was a werewolf with insane healing abilities, and Kacey was a lunar knight that hadn't died. Nobody trusted either of them, and if Emerald's mother were to past, would the town even let her be Lord of Lightningville? The girls didn't want to find out...

"Get used to that beautiful view, that's all you'll be seeing" Lauretta replied to the werewolf girl's comment.

The present...

Kacey smiled as she thought about the past, but her smile immediately fell as she thought about why she left. Most of the past she'd like to forget...she hadn't even thought about Lauretta until yesterday. She hoped she could forget about Lauretta for good after this trip- No, she hoped she could forget EVERYTHING about her old pirate life.

As she was deep in thought, she didn't realize she switched forms. Her armor was blue, and light blue..but now it was black and blood red. She was in her Lunar knight form, she had usually only turns when she was angry or upset. Standing there in her Lunar knight form reminded her of how she left...

A few years ago...

Kacey walked out from Lauretta's quarters..she was heart broken that the captain didn't love her back. She wasn't just heart broken, she was angry..no more than angry, she was furious. Usually Kacey would confide in Emerald, but she had left at their last stop to help her mother run Lightningville.

Kacey stood by the railing, staring out at the water that used to calm her, all it did now was make her blood boil. She turned into her Lunar knight form, a ruby sword formed in her hands as she destroyed part of the railing in front of her.

"I can't stay here any longer." Kacey said as her eyes turned from their normal cherry red, to black. Before anyone could realize what was going on with Kacey, she teleported to a place she never would have expected...

The city...
