Girl Meets World

Chapter 1

Riley's POV.

Maya and I got home from shopping at the mall. We could not stop obsessing over all of the awesome things we bought. Then my mom came running through the door.

"Guess what, Guess what, guess what." she screams.

"What." we all shout.

"We're all going to DisneyLand." she says.

Maya and I race to my room so we can sit in our special spot.

"What just happened?" I ask.

"I don't know.", she replies.

We start rummaging through our bags to find some decent clothes for school.
I was just about to grab my leg warmers when I received a message from Lucas. I met him in the subway and I owe it all to Maya. Ever since she pushed me onto him we've all been great friends.

"Hey do you think that this jacket is a little too sketchy?" she asks.

"Yeah." I reply back.

"Thanks. I'll wear it." she says.

I slide my phone to unlock it and I goto messages.

Message: Hey Riley do you wanna hangout after school tomorrow and work on our project????

I reply back to him.

Riley: Yeah, sure and don't forget our stand this time. :)

When Maya gets done putting her outfit together she puts another one together.

"Do you want help?" I ask.

"No because I'll look like a rainbow unicorn puked on me." she says.

I grab my phone and walk out of my room with Maya.

"Mom am I old enough to wear makeup?" I ask.

"Umm. No maybe another 2 years." she says while examining my face.

I grab Maya by the hand and take her to my mom and dad's room.

"Oh Riley rebel. I likey." she says and we start to laugh.

"Teach me how to wear makeup." I say.

"But your mom sai-" she says being rudely interrupted by guess who, my mom.

"Riley why do you want to wear makeup?" my mom asks.

"Because I need to learn how to apply it by myself. Please mom please." I plead.

"Okay fine, but you better not tell your father." she says.

"Tell me what?" He asks.

Maya and I run out of their room and head straight for mine. We open the door, lock it, and start talking about the school dance. Eventually we fall asleep on the ground.
