Jisung couldn't take it anymore. He got up and wanted to leave when..
"Jisung-ah..." Mrs Hwang called that made Jisung stop in his tracks.
"I'm sorry..." Mrs Hwang apologised. Jisung's fist started to ball up.
"No you're not. You never regretted a single thing. To the point, you even paid the police is so fucking shameless! I've completely lost my respect for you. I just can't believe that you, my own biological mother, a woman that my father once loved , would do such a thing," Jisung huffed in anger. Mrs Hwang could only face the ground as her infuriated son threw facts at her.
"Please don't call me your son anymore. Actually, don't even call me or message me. Now, I have to live the fact that my mother is a selfish psycho!" Jisung puffed even more. Jisung sighs.
"Jisung-ah..please don't leave me...you're the only thing I have about Jaehyun..." Mrs Hwang begs on her knees as her cries started to get louder. Jisung sighs loudly as he turs to his mother who was currently bowing on the floor.
"Thank you for telling me the truth. Thank you for everything but I can't stand the fact anymore. Please have a nice life. Until we meet again. For now, Goodbye, Mrs Hwang," The bitter taste left his mouth as he finally bowed and grabbed his bags, ready to storm out of the house.
However, he was stopped in his tracks when he sees Minhyun with tears in his eyes leaning against the shoe rack. Minhyun finally looked up at the younger and smiled. He turned his body to lean sideways as to giving way to Jisung. Jisung smiles with tears as he walked closer to the door. He wore his sneakers and looked at the older who was smiling, trying to make it a nice goodbye for Jisung.
"I'm going to miss you..." Minhyun said softly in a cracked voice. Jisung got up after tying his shoe laces and looked at the older. They both got into a hug. Once they parted, Minhyun ruffles the younger's hair.
"I'm sorry you have to go through that... I'll promise to be here for you. I'm always a call away. I'll be here. I promise," Minhyun consoled the younger. The younger smiled and nodded .
He never despised Minhyun Hyung. He was always so calm and sweet. Jisung could not hate someone so innocent. Minhyun hyung was also a source of his happiness back then. He could never hate someone who would do something like that for him.
As Jisung reached for the door knob, he turned to the older behind him who still had tears in his eyes. The older smiled widely and waved at him. Jisung smiles and waves as he bows and stepped out of this suffocating place. As he closes the entrance, he released a deep breath.
As he took his first freedom step into the dry land on his porch, he smiles.
'I'm free now' He thought to himself. He took a deep breath before setting his new goal.
"Time for a change Jisung-ah," He says to himself before starting to walk out of his home.
When he closes his gate, a honk greets him. Jisung squints his eyes into the sun as he tries to recognize the shadow that was now getting closer.
"Chan Hyung? What are you doing here? You knew?" Jisung asks the older.
Chan just smiles as he crosses his arms and leaned his waist at the bonnet of the car.
"I told you that I'd never leave you behind didn't I?" Chan smiles at the younger. Smiles started to erupt on Jisung's lips.
"I'll never break that promise, Jisung-ah. Get in," Chan says as he started to walk over to the driver's seat.
Jisung smiled and happily skipped to the car. As he got in, he threw his bag to the back seats as he put on his seat belt. He glances at the older, wearing sunglasses.
