Peter Pan

Celeste's POV:

Victoria, or Vici, seemed comfortable with Michael living in a care home. Anyone that visits, thinks we're all bad kids that have been forced into care because our parents didn't want us.

That's what they all think but Mandy says to just ignore them and carry on with life.

When each of us have turned 18, or for Michael, who should be 19 and over to get out of care, we will have to move on with our lives.

Michael was a bad kid. We were all scared of him. Well I was, four years ago but he's changed. He's better now. That was why he's being forced to stay in care until he's fully mature enough and capable of living on his own.

"Hey, you still mad?", Benji nudges me as I walk down the stairs, in the evening.

I stick my tongue out, showing that I don't care.

"Well, In Chemistry, we're going on a hiking trip", Benji grins.

Ah, he mentioned that before.

"And? Why are you so happy about hiking?", I roll my eyes.

"Duh! No lessons and no boring weekends.", he exaggerates with his hands. "You had Chem next so I thought your class might be going too", he shrugs.

I wasn't paying attention in class.

Too busy thinking about a little someone.

Shut up!

"I wasn't paying attention in class", I repeat my thoughts.

"Ask tomorrow. We're going on Thursday", Benji falls onto the couch, grabbing the remote. A few of the kids join us. They jump onto the other couch and Cassie leaps onto my lap as soon as I sit down.

"Hey, girly", I laugh.

"Can we watch Peter Pan? Oh oh! No, lets watch Rapunzel!", Cassie jumps up and down on my lap making me shake my head in laughter.

"Peter Pan!", the rest of the kids join us in the living room, shouting.

Davers comes in, holding little Macy.

"Be good. I'm dropping off Macy to Gabe's house", he says, pulling a coat around Macy.

Gabe must be the woman who always looks after Macy. The woman that we also ignore every single second of her life. Ah, good times.

"Stupid babies", Benji mutters.

Hah, he must be upset that he wont be watching his own movie.

"Aw, cheer up", I nudge him, "Peter Pan it is!"

I get comfy in my seat and pull up Cassie because she seems to be slipping down my legs.

"Woohoo!", the youngsters cheer.

...

When I pull on my black hoodie, someone suddenly knocks on my door. I pull off my sneakers and mess up my hair, making it look as if I'm tired.

I unlock my door and in bursts Julia Bent.

"What?", I groan.

"Are you ready for tomorrow night?", Julia wiggles her eyebrows in a weird way and smirks.

"Wha-a-", I scratch my head trying to think.

"Ugh, you useless cow!", Julia stomps her feet and shuts my door so no one can hear.
