Once upon us(mafia)

Chapter 7

Emani POV:

      Once I asked the boss to come with me I was nervous, this is my first time running a mission and to say I was nervous is an Understatement. As I walking ahead of him, I could feel him trailing behind me, I was leading him to clothing room were I would give him his mic and camera. What if I fail? What if he dies?  " Dieu s'il vous plaît, soyez avec moi et cet homme"

 " what" " huh?" " you said something that sounded like French" " I just said something to God" " what did you say?" " I said that, God should be with you and I". When I looked up I saw him looking up into my eyes,  we just stared into each other eyes for minutes. I felt that if we continued to look into each other eyes he would know everything about me. So I shook my head and got the mic of the table. " This is the mic that's going to allow us to speak to each other, and I will also have video to guide you through the building." I then proceed to hand him his bulletproof vest, his gun, and his knife.

   Here is camera, for extra precaution. " What's in the folder" he asks me " our backup plan in case anything goes wrong, any questions?" I waited for an answer but I never got one so I just walked away thinking this is going to be a long night. The boss has just left and is on his way to the Russian warehouse. The room was silent, my heart was beating rapidly while I checking if anybody was following them. Once they got there I knew it was showtime, and I knew mistakes could not be made.

    " okay 15 of you follow boss and make right the other 15 go left, boss groups take the back entrance there are three guards at the back. Jacob(left group) take the front entrance there are 2 guards. " okay now what?" boss asked " now 10 of you follow boss and go straight then there's gonna be one guard after him three guards and your gonna me in the middle of the warehouse you should see the crates. The other five make sure there are no other people in the warehouse. Jacob make sure the perimeter is clear, we have 7 minutes left start loading up."

 Third POV:

     Everything was going great till shots were fired, all of sudden it was  35 against 45 they were outnumbered. Nicklaus went into killer instinctive with the help of Emani guide, Emani was shocked she never ever in her life seen a man kill so ruthlessly he shot anyone that wasn't his men. She was turned on at the same time  being scared, while he was Mad he knew Emani was seeing him kill. But he would deal with it later right now his blood was boiling. But the human side felt bad that Emani had seen this part of him, and her small gasp did not help. 

    Finally he managed to get him and his men out there he had  more than expected casualties and lots of his men were injured  and he was not happy at all. And he knew it wasn't her fault but he knew a war was coming and he wanted to protect her at all cost. When she  heard that the there were injured she couldn't help but feel disappointed in herself  this was her first lead mission. And it turns out like this with a surprise ambush attack with dead and injured people on her watch. She just hoped that he was okay. She rushed to the next building rushing  to put on her scrubs telling  the other doctors and nurses that they have a big incoming.

  Emani POV:

    As soon as the big doors open I had never seen so much blood in my life there were dead and some injured. There were more patients then doctor and nurses, my first patient who had been shot had  6 bullet wounds. I  was so scared that my hand was trembling, I had to turn the emergency room into an OR. With the help of Athena I  was able to stabilize but then it just got worse. I had lost two patients most of them that came were not going to come out for a while.

    As I walked out of the room I saw him standing there holding his abdomen, I quickly rushed to him and I lifted up his shirt to see he had a long stab wound. " Lets get you sewed up" " no I am fine" he replied it was funny that he thought he had a choice. " I said lets get you sewed up I was not asking I was telling now lets go". He looked taken aback by my tone, but in this moment I didn't care I just needed him to be fine. for some reason seeing him like this breaks my heart and I didn't know why. 

    I got the suture kit and I started addressing his wounds, I heard a few groans and muffled sounds  from him. " What is wrong" he asked " nothing" " Emani I don't like being lied too, now tell me what is wrong and tell me the truth." His voice sounded sexy as hell but I know he is mad and I don't want to be the subject of his anger so I  am gonna tell him" Nothing its just that, this was my first lead mission and look at what happened more than half of the men are injured or dead, and your hurt and I am just disappointed in myself " 

   I could feel him looking into me but I didn't look at him, I was too deep in thought. After fixing him up I put back the stuff and washed my hands. As I washing my hands I could feel him starring into the back of the heads and to be honest it was hurting me. So I politely turned around, and said " can you please stop staring at me its making me feel uncomfortable"  after that I was ready to leave till I heard his voice.

Mr. Moretti:

   I was shocked at her answer and in all honesty I didn't know how to answer her all I could do is take up her beauty. Watching her stich me up made me realize she does so much and she doesn't get enough credit.  There is no reason for her to feel disappointed in herself it was the  Russians. But I couldn't help but get angry, but what surprised me more is how she talks to me first it was her telling me to follow her so she can get me stich up, then it was her telling me to stop staring at her. But how do I tell that I cant stop looking at her. Especially how good she looks in those scrubs.

  " Don't be disappointed you did  well and you impressed me and that is saying something, rest up I am  going to need more information in 2 days, and thank you for your work in the mafia I appreciate it." With that I left her in her world she looked shocked I would be to if I heard the Italian/American mobster say thank you and he appreciates me. And the crazy thing is that I meant every word, for some reason I having a forming attraction to her and we barely even had a full conversations that doesn't include the mafia.

  As I leave the warehouse I get a call from rose telling me to come quick. Hearing that I rush home, while driving I start thinking the worst. When I enter the house what I see makes my blood boil, my house is in ruins. Everything is destroyed paintings ripped, pillows all over, everything is flipped over or ripped. The house looks like thunderstorm and a hurricane came in , but what i couldn't figure is why there was blood.  As I walked outside I see Rose laying in a pool of blood, I quickly rush to her side to see her phone in her hand. " They Said that's this is war"I was so shocked she tried to talk but she was choking on her blood. " Beautiful boy, don't cry I have watched you grow into a handsome man, which is my honor I need you to make a promise to me" she said "anything" " marry her" "who?" I said " the lady who has been making you smile,  and don't see nobody because I see the look in your eyes"

 "OK I will" and with that she was gone.
