My heart was pounding, I was standing in front of the mirror fixing my tie. I was nervous for some reason. After  a while I finally fix my tie.
  I am standing here feeling the  platinum in my fingers. It was no doubt heavy but it was worth it. The price we pay for security. I quickly tucked it away in pocket.
   I walk up to Emani room and  Athena answers the door.
" Emani will be out in a minute"
" oh okay"
" did you get a good ring?"
" what are you talking about?"
" Come on Emani is my best friend I know you want to marry because you love her, but you use the mafia as an excuse" she said looking amused
  " look at the ring, and you tell me" I said showing her the ring
" wow, that looks expensive"
" it was, but it worth it"
" you know you have to keep her safe, we don't want a repeat of what happened a year ago"
  " what happened a year ago"
" you don't know about Eli"
" no tell me" WHO THE FUCK IS Eli
" I can't, it's not my business to tell"
And the door suddenly opened and Emani walked out. She had on a tight fitting red dress that's should all  her curves.
  " I am ready when you are" she said her voiced sounded so soft.
" Let's head out Bambina" and with that she grabbed my arm and we left.
In the car her beautiful perfume is lingering in the air, the sun is about set and the night looks perfect. Eventually we reached  a floral shop.
   " what are we doing here?"
" patience Bambina, we are here for you"
We walked inside the flower shop and there were flowers everywhere. She looked so happy.
" pick which one you want"
" but these are expensive"
" money is not a problem"
And with that's she choose white roses. We got in the car going to our next stop.
  " Thank you for the flowers"
" no problem"
Next we appeared to a small jewelry store, and I took her in and once again she protested. But she finally choose a silver bracelet.
Now we are going to our final destination, and my heart was beating so fast.
  " Thank you Nicklaus" and she layed  on my shoulder while I drove. We are going to special place.  Finally we arrived and Emani looked so confused.
  "What are we doing here?"
" I am about to change your life"
" you have already done that" she said smiling
I took her left her hand and walked her to garden, there were a lot of steps and doors.
" if I didn't know any better I would say your going to kill me"
" be careful Bambina don't tempt me"
" easy I just might take you on that offer" she said smiling
Finally we reached and I was nervous to open the door. But I knew I wanted this and I am sure of it. So I opened the door and watched the love if my life be filled with so much happiness.
  " oh my god, where did  you find this place? "
She said looking at the flowers.
" may I touch it these?" She asked politely, I nodding. She bend down touching the flowers delicately.
" come on Bambina" while I walker to the the circle dome she kept looking up at the glass ceiling. Final  we got to the dome and Bambina eyes widened.
" Nicklaus you  can see everything" she did walking ahead of me.
  I finally found the courage to get down one knee. I was listening to Emani rabbles till finally she turned around.
  "Nicklaus" she said walking up to me, I held her hand in my mind and let out a shaky breath.
" Emani"
" Nicklaus what are you doing?"
" Share my life with me, I want you Emani Williams to share my life me. I want you to be the first person I see when I wake up and last when I go to bed. I want you to be the one to check me and correct me, I want you to be the one to educate me and change me. Before I met you I thought I knew everything"
" come I you still think you know everything" she said laughing
" that was until you walked in my life, you changed the way I think and view life. You made me believe, I never believe in the little things till now. I love how you see me. The real me not the mafia me. I love how caring you are towards me. And just as you see me I see you. You are the only one I want to see, I don't think about  any other lady. You Emani are the love if my life.
  " Nicklaus" she said with tears coming down her eyes.
" Emani Williams will you marry me"
" Yes I will Nicklaus Moretti" and with that I was filled with instant joy I slipped the ring on her finger.
I stood up and kissed Emani soft lips, and she respond back. I have come to the decision  that she will be the only women I love. As we stood there kissing passionately I  could hep but wonder. Is this the life for me?
Finally I pulled away to look her in the eyes and say " thank you"
" for what?" She asked blushing
"For saving me, let's go I want to take you somewhere" and with that we walked away hand in hand.
" where are going?"
" to have some fun"
And with we were driving quietly in Italy, in this moment nothing even matters at all. Finally we arrived, I could see the look of confusion on her face.
" you brought me to the beach?"
" yes, come on hand me your your shoes" she slip if her heels and handed them to me. As were walking in the sand.
"c'est tellement beau, mon père avait raison il y a plus à la vie que de vivre" she said
" what did you say?" I asked
" oh nothing just a phrase that my father says to me from time to time"
" I have good news for you"
" really what is it"
" your father is coming to the wedding" I thought she would be happy but she didn't say anything. But then she suddenly cracked a smile.
" thank you I appreciate it, I know it wasn't easy"
" it wasn't but it was worth it" and finally after walking for a while we finally arrived.
" Bambina look"
" you are full of surprises Moretti"
" only for you"
As we sat I could see a look in her eye, she was happy but something was bothering her.
" What's wrong Bambina?"
" I need to take a trip to Switzerland" she said, not this again.
" why,what's so important up there?"
" I just need to make peace with some things"
" is this about Eli?"
" Athena told you, and yes"
" do you miss him?" I asked her, I could feel the jealousy in my blood.
" Honestly, yes sometime I do miss"
I had a feeling that Emani needed this, but I don't want to lose her. What if she falls in love with him.
" okay I will let you go, if only I can come with you"
" Thank you Nicklaus"
"  how long will be there for?"I asked, all ready getting irritated with this Eli.
"  we will be there for two days"
And after that we continued talking, as we ate and talked and kissed. I am wrapped up in her love. She told me about her life growing up.
She asked about me. By the end of our time together she knew more about me than anybody. She was the only one to called me Nicklaus.
Eventually we left the beach and now we are in the car in comfortable silence.
" you know once we are married I am never letting you go"
" what if I want a divorce? What if I get tired of you?" She said jokingly
" well I then I guess you have to take a nap because we are not leaving each other" I said ending the conversation.
Finally we reached home and once we entered all eyes were on us.
"Were were you guys!" Screamed the twins
" we are engaged" I said smiling proudly
"Why? Your supposed to my girlfriend sexy" said Toni
That's just made Emani laugh, " Don't worry, we are gonna be together in secret" emani said giving Toni a look. A look I didn't I  didn't like at all.
" so help me god let me catch you guys together-"
" your not gonna do shit" she said running up the stairs
