Pranking the youngest member of their friend group was always a blast. Despite the numerous times they had tricked him, he never seemed to become less gullible or lose his innocence.
-"Hey guys, lets prank Yugyeomie again," Jinyoung said. It had been a couple of years since the last time and he wouldn't be too suspicious of them. Yugyeom had left for the weekend to visit his parents so it would be the perfect time for the rest of them to plan something.
Bambam looked disapproving, he knew how painful it was to see his best friend suffer like that over and over again. Still, there was some excitement in it, and he was the older one after all.
-"Won't he be able to tell?" Bambam asked, trying to hide the fact that he didn't like the idea. But when Yugyeom was away he was suddenly the youngest and it was hard to be heard by his friends, especially since they always saw him as a baby.
-"Yeah, we did it so many times," Youngjae agreed, also feeling a bit anxious about the idea, partly for the same reason as Bambam but also because he had the worst poker face.
-"We just have to go bigger I guess," Jackson added, just entering the living room at their dorms. He was always busy and had a lot of friends to meet so the others were used to him sliding in, just joining their conversation naturally. "You are talking about pranking Yugyeomie right?" he said and got a reassuring smirk from Jinyoung who seemed impressed with how fast witted Jackson had been.
-"What do you mean by bigger?" Jaebum asked, he had gone quite hard on Yugyeom the last times and he didn't know if he could do it once again, let alone harder. He knew he could lose his temper at times and he felt bad for it. So to act it out didn't feel much better.
Mark was on his phone, pretending not to listen but Jaebum saw how he gazed over to the others from time to time. Mark was always like that, listening quietly.
-"I have an idea though," Jinyoung said, getting his usual smirk on his face. He never seemed to lose is mischievous side. "We accuse him of being the reason we failed the audition," The others went quiet. A week prior, the group had auditioned for a scouting company, looking for performers who could sing and dance. They had been planning to get into the entertainment industry since they all met at dance class almost ten years ago. Throughout the years they had been practicing dance and music, they usually performed at the end of the school year in front of their peers. It was definitely a dream of theirs to become performers, especially Yugyeom who had been the one dragging the rest to the audition. He had been nagging them about it since he was just a kid who couldn't tie his shoelaces. He would never shut up about dancing with Chris Brown and so on.
-"Wait, did we fail?" Bambam asked in despair, breaking the silence.
-"No no, or we don't know yet," Jinyoung said. "We will say that we failed, they called us, explained that we failed and that is was because Yugyeom was bad,".
-"Oh you evil shit," Jackson said and hit Jinyoung. It was a friendly one though and the two of them exchanged a smile.
-"That might actually work," Jaebum added, a bit lost in his own thoughts. Bambam felt a knot in his stomach. Yugyeom and him were roommates and he had been talking for weeks about this. Bambam knew how important this was for him and just failing it would be enough to crush him.
-"Guys, please don't be too mean," Bambam begged but the others had already started to plan it. He started to have a bad feeling about this...
----Time skip----
Yugyeom was relieved to be back at the dorms. He loved his family to death but his friends had become such a big part of his life that he missed them a lot, even just for being away from them for a couple of days. The first person to greet him was Bambam. He held his smaller best friend in his arms for a while and he was really happy to be back.
