"it's been years, mademoiselle" Chase said as he gently bowed his head.
We are here at the airport to fetch him. The last time I saw him was two years ago when I visited my parents for a week in New York. At masasabi kong nagbago ang kanyang itsura. Not that I am saying his ugly or what, what I mean is his face hardened he became more mature with his looks.
"Stop that. Don't bow at me, people are staring." I said.
"I'm sorry." he said then averted his gazed to Ronan who didn't bother to greet him. "Parker, didn't you miss me? Why are frowning? Aren't you happy that I am here?" he said teasing Ronan. I know for a fact that they aren't in good terms.
"Walker, why don't you just shut up?" he just smiled sheepishly at him."how rude of you" Ronan didn't answer him instead he face me and said.
"milady, you haven't study for your test tomorrow. We should go home." I almost forgot.

"where do you think you're sitting?" Ronan asked him frowning again.
"Can't you see?" he answered with cant you state the obvious tone. Bakit hindi sila tumigil sa kakaaway. Tsk. Kagabi pa sila ganyan. Magmula ng masundo namin ni Chase gumulo na sa bahay.Halimbawa nalang kung sinong magluluto, kung sinong maghuhugas maging ang maghahatid sa akin papasok ay pinagaawayan nila.
"Chase, let Ronan drive and please keep quiet. "
Agad namang tumalima si Chase, habang si Ronan ay nakangiti na naupo sa driver's seat. Nakakasakit ng ulo ang dalawang ito.
Chase on the other hand sitted beside me, medyo nagulat ako pero hindi ko nalang pinansin. There's nothing wrong about it anyway.
"Parker...what are you doing there." Nagtitimping boses niya. "Obviously, I'm sitting." Geez. This guy, why does he keep irritating Ronan.
But why does Ronan react like that? Sometimes I don't get him.
"You shouldn't be there, only milady should be sitting at the back. Aren't you told?" Chase was about to answer but I interrupted. Their conversation is going to nowhere.
"Let him be, just drive. I'll be late if we won't get going." kahit na hindi gusto ni Ronan ang sinabi ko, wala siyang nagawa kundi sundin ako.
"Lady Blanche, are there beautiful ladies at your school?"
"there are. Are you planning to date some? And wait...what? Lady Blanche? Don't call me that no one here knows me with that name"
Blanche is my first name, and only Daddy calls me that.
I curiosly asked. I never had this kind of conversation with Ronan. He never open up to me, especially about his love neither the girls he wants to date. Also, he never dated someone here in the Philippines, he's always at my side. I think, he never had a day off. Now that I think about it.
"Maybe..."he said shrugging his shoulders.
"Chase? Do you understand tagalog? Can you speak using that language?" magmula kahapon kating-kati na ang dila ko na magtagalog.
he nodded his head.
"You can!?" i slap him at his shoulders."Lady Blanche!"he exclaimed. Hinimas niya pa ito na parang nasaktan talaga. Medyo itinaas niya ang sleeves ng damit. Nakasuot siya-sila ng casual na damit, dahil syempre baka may makakita sa kanila sa school at magtaka pa ang mga ito kung bakit may kasama akong nakasuot ng pormal.
Pagkatingin ko sa braso niya, nakita kong namumula ang puti niyang balat. Hala! Napalakas ata.
"Sorry Chase, ikaw naman kase nakakaintindi at nakakapagsalita ka ng tagalog di mo sinasabi. Alam mo bang kating-kati na itong dila ko na magtagalog? Nakakainis ka." dire-diretso kong sinabi. I am speaking straight English for his sake, for him not to have a hard time figuring what am I saying. Then this is what I got?Tsk.
"woah!keep calm Lady Blanche. I can understand and speak but not too fast. I'm still not used." sinamaan ko nalamang siya ng tingin.
"mademoiselle, im sorry if I didn't tell you..."
"manahimik ka! Now listen very carefully. Hanggat kaya mo magtagalog ka. Don't call me Lady Blanche, only dad should call me on my first name. Call me Yana in front of other people." galit ako. Nagpapakahirap ako ngayon pala sayang lang effort ko. Tsk. I should have asked him before hand.
"mademoiselle, can I asked you?" out of the blue he said.
"what?"
"Are you having you're monthly period?"
I am speechless, he got me there. How the hell did he know? Am I that obvious?
