Grant's P.O.V
Walking into homeroom, I notice that there's someone sitting in the seat next to mine. I couldn't really tell who it was, seeing that their head was down.
The closer I walked to my seat, I began to notice that it was Drake sitting at my seat. My heart began pounding out of my chest.
"G-Good Morning," I mumble, feeling my cheeks heat up.
His eys lit up, as he smiled up at me. "Hey. You okay? You look a bit panicked this morning."
Oh no, just really shocked and happy that you're sitting next to me..
"Oh no, just not feeling well this morning."
"Oh okay, is it okay if I hang out with you today? It's okay if you don't want me to I mea-" Drake unsteadily spoke.
"Oh no, no, it's okay. I just never really hang out with people much." I grinned. He seemed so relieved when I agreed to hanging out with him today. I wonder why.
The rest of the day consisted of just simply sitting next to Drake all day in every class, sneaking laughs. Some classes we kept getting warnings for laughing and talking to loud, but we didn't really bother lowering our voices.
Drake and I currently have free period. I don't know where he ran off though..
So hear I am, currently wandering around the slightly crowded hall of Building B. It's been about what, 10 minutes since I last saw him? Maybe I should go look for him.
Checking every possible area of the school that I could, I slowly began to give up. I was currently walking to the guys' lockeroom, not really sure if he'd be there or not. I guess he'd be here.
As I'm walking up to the big, slightly-screechy maroon door, I pull the handle revealing the lockerroom. I was greeted by the rows of maroon lockers, and the slight aroma of body odor. I hear a couple of showers running, indicating that people were in here too. I hear laughter sounding through the large lockerroom. I try to follow the direction that the laughter came from, only to find two shirtless boys in front of me. They're quite fit if you ask me.. One of their backs are facing me, so I couldn't really make out who it was. But the other boy was facing me.
I recognized him as one of the team captains for the football team, and he was also a senior from what I've heard. I believe his name is Tyson.
I guess they didn't really notice that I was in the room, since they were still engaged in their conversation.
I awkwardly cough to get their attention, which I succeed with.
"Why is there a nerd in here?" Tyson laughed loudly.
The moment he acknowledged the fact that I was in the room with them, the 'Mysterious' guy speaking with him turned around.
My eyes widened and I felt my jaw slightly drop once the guy turned around.
It was Drake.
Right in front of me.
Shirtless.
Oh my god.
I probably sound like a little girl right now, but I don't really care.
"Haha, hey Drake, looks like Gay Boy likes what he sees!" Tyson teases.
I immediately feel my eyes water at what Tyson called me.
Drake just laughs along with him, which didn't help the fact that I was about to cry any moment now.
I storm out of the lockerroom, feeling tears threatening to pour out of my eyes.
Dammit Grant, you should've stood up to him or something.
I skip last period, running home as fast as I can. It didn't take long to get home, since I lived a couple of streets from the school.
Slamming my room door, I just hide my face in my pillow.
Not crying, not screaming,
Just thinking.
