Chapter 1

Lilian

I sighed, glancing at my outfit in my mirror, I wasn't ready for today. For a month straight I have heard nothing but rumors about Charlie Swan's, our chief of police twin daughters were coming back to Forks. And Jessica didn't make it any better, she has been talking about it non-stop.

Taking one last glance at my outfit, I grabbed my backpack and walked out of my room. Hearing a car horn, I sped up.

"Mom, I'm leaving!" I yelled as I walked towards the door, opening it.

"Okay, sweetie," Mom yells from the kitchen making me walk out the door. Walking down the few steps that we had I walked to my boyfriend Mike's car. This was our daily routine, he would pick Jessica up from her house, and then he would come pick me up at my house

Opening the door, I let Jessica slid out of the truck letting me climb into the middle. "Hey, Babe," Mike spoke with a small smile on my face as he kissed my cheek. Giving him a small smile in return.

"Hey!" I exclaimed. The sound of the truck door closing made me turn to Jessica. She was buckling her seat belt, now I was in the middle of Mike and Jessica. Sometimes it can get a little annoying but I can deal with it most of the time.

"You know that the Swan twins are coming back this week," Jessica informed making me sigh and look in front of me as Mike started to make his way towards school.

"Yeah, I know. You have been talking about it every day, Jess." I tell her making her scoff slightly. "I just think it's weird, ya know? After all this time, they are moving back now?" Jessica rants making my leg shake in annoyance.

"I don't know, Jess. Maybe they just wanted a change of scenery." I snap making her cower away. Sighing, "Sorry." I apologize, I didn't mean to make her upset or anything but she is forcing it today.

The rest of the ride to school was quiet and the topic of the Swan twins was dropped. Parking in the lot, Jessica and I got out of the car, Mike following right behind us. Smiling when I saw Angela, Eric, and Tyler. They waited for us, and that was why I loved them. Nudging mike, I nod my head towards the rest of our friends.

"Hey, guys!" I wave making them smile at me. "Hey!" The responded making me smile again.

"So are they here yet?" Jessica asked making me whip my head. "Jessica!" I growled making her gulp slightly.

"What? I'm just curious." She explained making me roll my eyes at her. "Yeah, they're here alright. And one of them is hot." Tyler explained making Mike stand up straight from beside me.

Eric perked up at Tyler's comment, "Wait! They're here and you didn't tell me?! I'm going to introduce myself to them!" Eric spoke quickly making me chuckle at his excitement.

"Really which one?" Mike asked beside me, rolling my eyes at my dumb boyfriend. "Excuse me? I'm right here." I tell him. slapping him on the arm putting a little force behind it.

"Sorry," Mike spoke attitude laced in his voice. Glaring at him, me, Angela, and Jessica walked towards the entrance of the school. Bracing myself, first period, here we come!

As we were heading to first period I could hear Eric, "You must be Isabella and Everly Swan! The new girls. Hi, I'm Eric. The eyes and ears of this place. Anything you nee, tour guide, lunch date, shoulder to cry on." Eric rambles as he looked at the pretty twins.

I see who I assume is Bella looking at Eric with a scared expression. "I'm kinda the suffer and silence type." She says making me chuckle at her.

"What about you little Swan?" Eric asked her. Wait...

"Little Swan?" She asked him

"Well, you are the tinier twin, But, Bella that's a good headline for your feature. I'm on the paper and your both news, baby. Frontpage," Eric rambled on like his usual self.

"I-no. I'm not on the news, I'm serious." Bella spoke nervousness clear in her expression and voice. This girl is really awkward, but it was kinda cute.

I decided to walk over not wanting to hear any more of his ranting and save them from him. "Eric, stop torturing them. I said to Eric. Hi I'm Lilian Uley, but people call me Lili for short." I introduce.

"I wasn't torturing them, I was making conversation with them," Eric spoke defensively.

"Yeah you were, you're making poor Bella feel uncomfortable, and calling Everly short," I said to him. I guess since we haven't had new students very often he was overly excited to tell them everything but it was very annoying.

"Ugh, would you mind just pointing me to Mr. Varner's class, and also Mr.Jones for for Everly?" Bella asks

"Yeah sure, come on, and Jessica can show where Mr.Jones is thats her first class to." I said to her.

Hey! Jessica?. I called

Yeah? She asked

"You don't mind showing Everly Mr.Jones class is right?" I asked

"No, its ok, I'll show her where it is". Jessica said

After they walked off, We were making our way over to math class and I sat down next to Mike. As I was sitting down, Bella was talking to Mr. Varner saying she missed a lot of the semester. As she turned back around she saw everyone staring at her. She tried to look away getting all flustered but it didn't work. He told her to go sit by Edward. As I was sitting next to Mike he kept talking about the Swan twins again, I was getting fed up with it.

"You've seen Bella right? Is she hot? If she's hot maybe her sisters even hotter." Mike ranted to Eric who was sitting behind us. The Swan twins were already ruining my life and they haven't even been there for a whole day.

"Hello? your girlfriend is right here, moron." I snapped at Mike, fed up with his dumbass.

"All I said was if the other sister is hot like Bella, You didn't have to call me a moron," Mike argued with me.

"But, you're hitting on them right in front of me," I said to him.

"Yeah, ok whatever Lili," he said

After that, I tuned out the rest of the conversation and did the rest of the work Mr. Varner told us to do. I looked behind me at Bella and saw her talking to Edward and seeing him acting weird. oh by the way, I'm the only one that knows about him and his family being vampires, because of my family, I'm also great friends with Rosalie, she's like a big sister I never had. we live in Forks not on the Reservation cause my mom works at the hospital alongside Dr. Cullen. Then the bell went off telling us to go to our next class.
