𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐐𝐮𝐢𝐥𝐞𝐮𝐭𝐞 𝐇𝐲𝐛𝐫𝐢𝐝, 𝐉𝐚𝐜𝐨𝐛 𝐁𝐥𝐚𝐜𝐤

Chapter 2

Lilian

After math class, we made our way to gym class. After we got changed we went on to the court. I found Jessica and i was telling her what happened in biology.

"So what happened in math?" Jessica asked.

"He was basically talking about how hot the Swan Twins are right in front of me, and I was like ugh hello your girlfriends right in front of you, and then he gave me attitude about it," I told her.

"Wow, he did that? Why are you even with him?" Jessica asked.  

"I don't know, I thought I loved him, but he just isn't the same anymore like how he used to be. I told her."

"Well, maybe try and talk to him about it," Jessica said.

"I've tried but he just keeps blowing it off," I said.

"Well, you might want to talk to him soon, turn around." Jessica said.

"Block it, Chloe! Yeah! Good! Attack!" Jessica yelled to the other girl.

Unfortunately the volleyball heads towards Everly and Bella. They both try to it hit at the same time but fails at it as it goes further down the court hitting both Mike and Greg in the process. Greg is the twin brother to Mike by the way.

"Ow!" Mike said.

"Are you all right? I told them not to let me play." Everly said.

"Its only a flesh wound."Mike smiles at her.

Then the bell rings that gym is over.
  
"Your Everly right?" Mike asked her.

"Yes," Everly said. 

"I'm Mike Newton." He introduced himself.

He looks at her a bit too long for my liking so went over while Jessica went over to Bella and Greg clearly not like what she sees either. So I step in between mike and Everly nudging mike.

"She's got a great spike doesn't she?" I said to Mike.

"So, you're from Arizona, right? Aren't people supposed to be like really tan down there?" I asked her.

"That's why they kicked me and my sister out?" Everly said.

Mike laughs at her statement, but I soon join in feeling slightly uncomfortable with the way Mike looks at her. After that I decided to go find Rosalie and the others, this is the only time I can hang out with them besides a couple classes, and i sometimes go to there house.

"Hey, Rose." I said 

"Hey, how are you doing?" Rose asks.

"I'm doing OK, Mike keeps saying how hot the Swans twins are right in front of me and then gym class we was smiling and flirting with Everly," I said to her while walking to the cafeteria with them. 

"You want me to beat him up for you? Cause I will." Emmett asks.

" I will kill him, why are you even with him? You can do so much better than that twirp." Rosalie said.

"No, it's ok, I'll figure something out," I told them. 

"You know, if you ever need us we're all here for you," Rose said. 

"I know, and thank you," I told.

As we walked through the cafeteria doors everything slowed down. We moved through the cafeteria like we owned the place. As we were walking i heard Bella asking about us.

"Who are they?" Bella asked 

"The Cullens". "Doctor and Mrs. Cullens foster kids they all moved down here from Alaska two years ago," Jessica said.

"They kinda keep to themselves beside Lilian." Angela said. 

"How do they know Lilian?" Bella asks 

"Her mom Melissa Uley, she works alongside with Dr.cullen, so both of there families know each other. But whenever I talk about them to her she brushes it off you know." Angela said.

"They're also all together. Like, together together. The blonde girl Rosalie and the big dark hair guy, Emmett. There a thing I'm not sure if that's even legal." Jessica kept rambling.

After that I was getting annoyed with Jessica and her gossips about them. So I tuned out the rest, until Edward came, and saw Bella looking at Edward and Edward looking at Bella before he walked over and took a seat by me. I faintly hear Bella asked who Edward is.

"Who is he?" Bella asked.

"That's Edward Cullen, totally gorgeous obviously, But apparently no one here is good enough for him. Like I care, don't waste your time."

"I wasn't planning on it," Bella said but I saw her looking back up to Edward.

After that the bell ranged telling us for our next class which is biology. As we walked in I heard Mr. Molina telling Bella and Everly they missed a lot. He also told Bella to sit with Edward and Everly to sit with Mike. I looked over at Edward and he was having a hard time being around Bella after she passed by the fan witch made her scent go to Edward. Then after that, Mr. Molina tells us what we will be doing.

"Today we will be observing the behavior of planaria a.k.a Flatworms. We're going to cut them in half, than watch them regenerate into two separate worms." Mr. Molina said.

As we continue to listen, he was passing out two Petri dishes.

"Yes folks, zombie worms! They just won't die." Mr. Molina said.

Out of the corner of my eye, I saw Mike trying to flirt with Everly.

"You know, you're very pretty," Mike said to her.

"Don't you have a girlfriend," Everly said blushing a little bit.

"Yeah, but that doesn't matter," Mike said. I started to clench my fists. I am going to kill him.

"Well, it does to Lili, I'm not going to do that to her." Everly said to Mike.

After that I blocked the rest of the conversation out. I really didn't want to hear anymore. We continued to work on the assignment, and then the bell ranged with Edward running out of the classroom.
