Promises

Final Chapter xx

"M-maura what are you doing here?" Ondreaz asked.

"I wanted to come visit and make sure that you got settled." she smiled at him. This was a little harder than she thought. Tony came out of Ondreaz bedroom.

"Hey Mar, can I get you anything to drink?" He asked.

"No I'm okay thanks Tony" She smiled.

"So what all did I miss the past 2 months?" Ondreaz asked her.

"Not much um I have been living with Tayler, just kind of minding my own business." She nodded.

"Are you seeing- wait are you still wearing your promise ring I gave you?" Ondreaz smiled as he grabbed her hand.

"Yeah, I did never take it off. Kind of just was a piece of you I had when you were gone" She smiled as she looked down at it. She never really lost any feelings for Ondreaz. Bryce kind of made his own way in and made things hard for her. He was someone that made it easy to fall back on. Her and Ondreaz sat there for a while just talking and catching up.

"Its late, I should really get going." Maura smiled as she stood up. Ondreaz walked up to her to hug her, but they both leaned in the wrong way and bumped heads.

"Oh my god I am so sorry" Ondreaz laughed. 

"Its fine" She said leaning into him to give him a hug. She closed the door behind her and walked to her car. She couldn't get Ondreaz out of her head. She couldn't go back to Bryce's feeling this way, but if she didn't go back he would know something was up. She slowly made her way back to the Sway house. When she pulled up she asked Bryce to come outside to talk.

"Hey babe whats up?" He smiled walking back to her car.

"hey, sorry I didn't mean to come over here so late, but I figured we needed to talk. I just need to get a few things off my chest. I just want to tell you that I really do love having you around, but I think-" She was cut off.

"You think we should take a break? I knew you still had feelings for him. I was trying to prepare myself all night, but it was hard. I sat there all night crying to Jaden, fucking Jaden trying to work through this and trying to be confident that you would pick me in the end." He had small tears in his eyes.

"Bryce, you are my best friend and that is not going to change anything, but I promised him that I would love him through everything and he got help. I am not saying he changed completely, but I promised I would help him through everything. Bryce I'm sorry" Maura was starting to get upset. 

"Just leave Maura, I need time" He said walking away from her. She started her car and went home. She had trouble driving between the tears, but she made it home. She unlocked her front door and Tayler was laying on the couch.

"Maura, whats wrong?" He asked.

"I-I saw Ondreaz and then I went back to Bryce and ended things and now he is mad at me. I hurt him again." She cried.

"So you're going back to him? After all he did?" Tayler asked.

"What part of I love him and I promised him does no one understand!" She yelled. She stormed into her room crying and slammed the door. She collapsed on her bed. 

Incoming call...

Ondreaz..

"H-hey Dre" She tried to wipe away tears before picking up the phone. 

"Maura whats wrong?" He asked.

"I ended things with someone I was seeing tonight and it just ended badly" She sighed. 

"Bryce?" He asked.

"How did you know?" She asked.

"I just know you, I'm coming over" He smiled. Before she could argue he hung up the phone. About 30 or 40 minutes later, there was a knock at the door and Maura ran out to answer. Ondreaz was standing in the doorway, Maura jumped and wrapped her legs around him.

"I love you" She whispered.

"Wait what?" Ondreaz asked. She jumped down and took him to her room.

"Listen, I love you. I am sorry I ever left you when you were going through such a tough time. I had promised you I would always be there and I left when the things were hard." She sighed.

"shut up, I love you too, I was an asshole I pushed you to leave because I am not use to people wanting to be around me and with me." Ondreaz smiled. Maura kissed him and did not stop until he pulled away on his own. 

"Now, you have one more thing to make right so things can go back to normal" Ondreaz sighed and handed Maura her phone. She sighed and started to text Bryce.

Maura

Bryce, I am sorry. Can you please talk to me?

Bryce

What?

Maura

I did not want to hurt you. I just want my best friend. Please?

Bryce

I am not mad or hurt. I just care too much about you.

I do not want to see you get hurt again

Maura

Dre and I are getting back together

Promise me you will be there even if I get hurt again?

Bryce

I promise. I have been there since Day One

I just better see you at least every other day

Maura

Deal. Love you B xx

Bryce

I love you too M xx

Maura put her phone down and made eye contact with Ondreaz. She pulled his face into hers and kissed him. 

"Do you promise to never leave me?" She asked

"I promise..."

OMG I hope I ended this okay. I was running out of ideas and tried to prolong this as much as I could. I still have Sway Girl in my stories and still writing that so stay tuned.
