I've thought this for a long time but reheated spaghetti is never as good as fresh cooked spaghetti. I made this perfect slightly al dente spaghetti the other night that was so delicious but when I had it as leftovers tonight, I was very disappointed.
I have both reheated spaghetti many times with water in a pot and in the microwave and in a frying pan with oil but it's not the same. Maybe if I tried cooking it in spaghetti sauce it wouldn't be so bad. But from all the methods I've tried so far, none have given a satisfactory result.
The same can be said for basically all pasta but as someone who loves spaghetti more than any other pasta, this disappoints me the most.
