"I don't know who gotta say it but them pop smoke braids don't look good on everybody." Zay said shaking her head.
"Man, for real that shit trending and it ain't even cute on the people it's trending on." Riley said shaking her head.
"Won't catch me with them bitches." I shrugged.
"Where you at Ky?" Zay asked me.
"My mama house." I mumbled.
"Really? Yall cool again?"
"Im finna have a conversation with her and Nari, but ima call later." I said hanging up sliding out my car.
I walked up to the door and knocked on it and waited for somebody to open it. Soon Nari came to the door smiling before we engaged in a warm embracing hug.
"I missed you soooo much." Nari sighed.
"I missed you too." I said.
"Last time you were here you left quick didn't even get a chance to hold a decent conversation." Nari said letting me in.
"I know, something had came up." I said walking to the front. "Mama here?" I asked.
"Yeah, MAMA !" Nari yelled.
"Why the fuck you yellin in my house ?" My mama said comin down the stairs. "Oh, hey what are you doing here Kyky?" She asked once she noticed me.
"I wanted to have a talk as a family. Me, you, and Nari." I said they both looked at me confused before sitting down on the sofa and i sat on the love seat.
"Whats up?" Nari asked confused.
"I want us to go to Therapy as a family." I announced.
"Really? You think therapy is needed?" Nari asked.
"Well, i know for me and mama it do." I said looking down at my ringing phone declining Kamari's call. Ill call him back.
"I don't think-" "mama you need to talk to somebody because the way you're coping right now isn't it. You still not over daddy's death if your putting me to blame. You won't even let me see my own sister mama. You got some deep rooted issues and i think we should talk to a professional." I expressed cutting my mama off.
"Blame you for what?" Nari asked.
"For daddy's death." I sighed.
"It's wasn't your fault though." Nari said confused.
"My point, so do you guys agree on going to family therapy. Thomas could even come if you'd like." I told my mama.
"I'll think about it."
"Could i at least get a hug." I said giving her a small smile standing up with my arms out. She stood up and wobbled over to me and gave me a hug as much as she could without her belly getting in the way.
"Wait, im still confused when did yall bond come down to this?" Nari asked still confused.
"For awhile mow, it really came outta nowhere, i was just as confused as you are right now." I chuckled.
"I'll try this therapy thing out but if I don't like it im leaving, and ion think Thomas is going to come because he's grieving right now." Mama said.
"Oh yeah, i forgot his brother died." Nari said looking sad.
"Tell him i said sorry for his loss." I said.
"Nari..." my mama sighed. "You could go with your sister." She said and me and Nari both smiled.
"You know the mother F in vibesss !!" Nari semi yelled as she rushed upstairs to get her phone im guessing.
