Moxxie's pov

I fell to the ground as my shot spat blood out. My head felt light from the blood I'd already lost as the masked demon left the room, swiftly. My vision blurs while I squirm in pain. " I-i can't die, l-like... this," I say, trying to crawl towards a phone. My vision blurred as it slowly darkened.

Y/n's pov

" I need more gauze! " I yelled to the other nurses as they panicked and looked around. I growled as I stretched to reach the gauze. The nurses looked at me as I glowered at them, a fire blazing in my eyes. " Where...where am I?" The imp below me whimpered below me. My eyes fell to his as I stared back. " Patient is responding! Go alert the doctor!" I command, " You're ok. You're in the hospital and we're taking care of you. ".  The imp's eyes start to flutter closed as I snap at him to gain his attention. " Hey! Just keep looking at me. What's your name? " I ask, trying to keep him awake. " Um, Moxxie." He mumbles. " Well, nice to meet you. I'm Y/n. What's your favorite color?" I inquire once again. "Y-yellow. " He answers. I nod and smile. " You're doing really good, Moxxie. Just stay awake, ok?" I say, softly, " Do you have someone at home that you want us to contact for you?". He shakes his head as he winced once again.  "Okay, you're going to be alright, Moxxie." I smiled at him, "Just stay with me." He nodded and smiled, weakly. I kept asking him questions as I applied pressure to the wound till we arrived at the hospital.

Moxxie's Pov

I looked around the room as I coughed. A female nurse looked up from her clipboard and set down the pen, grinning at me. "I'm glad to see that you're awake." She beamed at me, "Do you remember anything, Mr. Moxxie?". I watched her as she stood up. "I remember answering some questions." I answered as she nodded, "And then I passed out for a bit, I think. Then...I think I saw an angel. She was beautiful from what I could see. There was a halo of light all around her as she looked down at me.". I looked at her as she smiled. "That was me just checking on you as you fell in and out of consciousness, sir." the nurse said, blushing, "But thank you.". "What's um, what's your name?"

 I asked, trying to sit up before she placed her hand over my chest and shook her head. "I wouldn't suggest that. And you can call me Nurse Y/n." she answered. I nodded and smiled at her. "Thanks for coming to my rescue," I said, placing my hand over hers and looking at her. "Course." Y/n replied, her E/c orbs shimmering. "If there's any way I can repay you." I began. "Just recover." she said, moving back, "Then if you wouldn't mind, maybe a cup of coffee?". Her cheeks were dusted with a light shade of rosy red and a smiled was on her lips. "I would love that." I admitted, cheeks reddening a bit.
