The Shadow Man (Remastered)

Chapter 1

Oct.4 2019 1:40 a.m.

Jamie~  We had been running through the forest all most all night. I was dead tired. I decided to sit down for a bit. I sat my sleeping sister, Ash, against a large mossy tree. I sat down next to her and wrapped my coat around her. It was very cold outside. I looked around to see if that thing was still around. I couldn't see it, but then again it was very dark. I sat against the tree and closed my eyes. Then it hit me. We were completely lost. I didn't know my way in the woods. What are we going to do? At least I have my phone, maybe I can call someone? No service. I sighed. I leaned my head against the tree and closed my eyes. The next thing I know its 5:35 in the morning. The sun was just starting to rise. I could just barely see it over the tall lush green trees. "I hope we can find out way out..." I mumbled to myself. I looked over and Ash was starting to stir. I smiled. "Good morning Ash!" I said trying to be cheerful. So I wouldn't worry her. "Good morning Jamie..." she said sleepily. Hours later we finally made it out, although we were on the opposite side of town. I checked my phone. It was at 5% and the time was 6:40 p.m. I looked around, I recognized this place. It was where my best friend lived. It was now 7:25 p.m. Me and Ash had just finished some 'delicious' take out. I was helping Alex set up some sleeping bags, while Ash was sitting on the couch watching. After Ash was asleep I walked over to Alex, who was sitting on the kitchen island. I sat on the stool, and told him what had happened. He was shocked.

Oct.5 2019 11:29 p.m.

Ash~  I woke up with the feeling that someone was watching me. I was right. I looked around and saw 'it'. That thing was back. It was after me. I was paralyzed. I couldn't move. I tried to scream for help as the thing approached me. "H-HELP" I finally choked out. My brother quickly sat up and looked around. "W-what happened!?" Then Alex came running in. They sat the 'thing' and tried to run to me, but that Shadow Man reached me fist. After it had me everything went dark.

Jamie~ That thing grabbed my sister. Alex had to hold me back so I wouldn't get hurt. Once it had a hold of Ash is vanished with her. "W-WHY DIDN'T YOU LET ME GO AFTER IT!" I screamed at Alex. I started to cry as Alex slowly led me towards the couch to sit. "It could have hurt you or taken you, Ash has a better chance if you were safe." He said softly, sitting next to me.
